Hard to believe.
Same with really, you can dress the exact way you want have a love of colour and still introvert and get your energy from being alone (like me)And not want all the eyes on you. It might just be the way you are.

Don’t waste your time on individual pouches or cones. Get a big basket or box and get everyone to grab a handful of confetti.
It’s less waste and they get chucked around.

Hey, I'm Jenn.

I got started with weddings back in 2015. As a few friends were getting married and I always had my camera with me. I took it seriously when I went on to do Emma Case's Home workshop. I learnt a whole different side to weddings beyond what I had seen. A really emotional and imperfect way of shooting. I realised that maybe I could shoot weddings in a different way, to.

I used to do experiments with film photography in my personal work. Including take a £1 film camera taking photos, winding it back and taking photos over the top. I took it on holidays to get different perspectives and try different ideas.
I also did a project with 100 instant film photos called the beauty of Stockport in which I took photos of all the different buildings and places of stockport.
I guess all of these projects took me up to this place I am now in using these cameras in my wedding photography.

One of, if not my main things I say is REAL, NOT PERFECT. I have to remind myself of this daily. We are humans.

Why do I shoot with digital and film? I guess I could save myself so much hassle (Maybe not the right word) if I just did digital but honestly, I live for the colours, the experiments and the unpredictability. Its so much fun!
Getting a film developed and wondering if it has the magic on it or not, still after all these years, I love that so much.
It also cant be recreated digital is too perfect, too sharp, I need light leaks, colour, grain , texture, movement. It captures life so much better.
