Ive been working as a portrait photographer on and off for 10 years now and have gained lots of lovely regular clients who come to visit me for portraits of their children and i watch them grow through my photographs which is wonderful. I take great pride in my work and making sure my customers leave me with a smile on their face and quality photographs which they will cherish for years to come. W

hen it comes to photography you get what you pay for but I like to still offer an excellent service, quality images but without a ridiculously expensive price tag. I am also flexible and can offer payment plans* to allow those on a limited budget the opportunity to still have beautiful portraits like everyone else. I also do model portfolios and bo***ir photoshoots if required. Please contact me for more information or for a full price list.

Can we just have a moment for all this COLOUR?! 🌈

I’m not going to lie, I do love a beautiful neutral set up, but when this family told me they wanted colour because they’re a colourful, fun family… I was absolutely here for it!

So we went for ALL of it. Different colours, different set ups and lots of fun throughout their gallery.

And honestly, I think your photos should match the people in them.

If you’re a loud, fun, colourful family, why would your photographs need to be beige?! 😂

I love creating galleries that actually feel like the family I’m photographing, rather than trying to make every session fit the same aesthetic.

These are the photos I think you’ll look back on and think, yep… that was us. ❤️

More colour please! 🌈

A little newborn photography budget hack for you 👀

Want to change the fabric on your posing bed without clipping and unclipping the top fabric layer every time? This is SO much easier and cheap to make.

I love a good DIY photography hack, especially when it saves me money!

Would you try this? 👇🏼

I almost never shoot in natural light but when I do, I forget how pretty it can look 😍

A few things I genuinely wish every new parent knew before coming into the studio. ❤️

There’s so much pressure around newborn photoshoots, and I think a lot of it comes from seeing those beautiful, perfectly posed images online and assuming that everything has to go exactly to plan.

It really doesn’t.

Your baby might sleep the whole way through. They might wake up halfway through. They might decide they absolutely hate the idea of being put down. Your toddler might refuse every single photo we try to get. You might not feel like you look your best.

And that’s all completely okay.

Newborn sessions aren’t about having a perfectly behaved baby or a perfectly behaved family. They’re about capturing your baby as they actually are, and the connection between you all at this stage of your lives.

I’ll do everything I can to make the session relaxed and as stress-free as possible, and we’ll work around your baby rather than expecting them to fit around the photographs.

So please don’t turn up worrying that your baby is going to be “difficult” or that you need to have everything figured out.

You’ve just had a baby. You’ve got enough going on. 😂

Just bring yourselves, your baby and all those tiny newborn cuddles. I’ll take care of the rest. ❤️

Who is that gorgeous thing?! 😍

Oh… it’s me. 😂

Well… technically.

Because THAT is what I look like after hair, makeup, flattering lighting, posing, professional photography and a s**tload of editing.

And THIS is what I actually look like most days. 🤣

Scruffy hair. Glasses. No makeup. Double chin making a guest appearance. Living my best goblin life.

I am the ultimate catfish. 😂

But honestly, this is exactly why I love doing bo***ir.

Because you don't have to look like a model to have photos like that.

You don't need to be skinny.
You don't need perfect skin.
You don't need to know how to pose.
And you definitely don't need to wake up looking like the woman in the finished image.

That's literally my job.

I'll sort the lighting, the angles, the posing and all the clever photographer s**t that makes you look 🔥

Your job is just to turn up and let me make you feel bloody gorgeous.

Because we're all capable of looking like THAT...

Even when five minutes earlier we looked like THIS. 😂

And honestly, that's one of my favourite things about bo***ir photography. Seeing someone who walks into my studio saying “I'm not photogenic” leave looking at their images thinking “Holy s**t… that's actually me.”

Real women. Real bodies. Real confidence. A little bit of clever photography magic. ✨

And yes, I will absolutely be using this reel to expose myself. 😂

The photography industry has a problem nobody wants to talk about.

And honestly… I think we're partly responsible for it.

Photography has become SO saturated.

Everyone has a camera.
Everyone is a photographer.
Everyone is offering a “mini session”.
Everyone is editing with the same presets.
Everyone is posting the same beige newborn photos, the same poses, the same reels, the same bloody Canva quotes. 😂

And then AI came along and basically kicked the door in.

Now people can generate a ridiculously good-looking portrait without booking a photographer at all.

So what are we doing?

Posting another pretty picture and hoping someone books?

Because pretty isn't enough anymore.

People don't just need to see what you photograph.

They need to know why you matter.

Why should they spend £300, £500 or £1,000 with you when their phone can take a decent photo and AI can create something that looks incredible?

That's the bit photographers need to start talking about.

The experience.
The expertise.
The connection.
The direction.
The emotion.
The memories.
The fact that the person in the photograph actually existed in that moment.

And I think photographers need to stop hiding behind their portfolios and start showing more of the person behind the camera.

The failures.
The ridiculous moments.
The behind-the-scenes chaos.
The honest opinions.
The personality.

Because people don't just book a photograph.

They book YOU.

And if all we're showing people is another pretty picture…

why would they remember us?

That's my brutally honest take anyway.

Do you think the photography industry has lost some of its value, or do you think we're just going through a massive shift?

I'm genuinely interested in what photographers and clients think. 👇
