A sparkly dress. Islington Town Hall. A London pub for dinner. Artwork designed by Klara’s sister. A brilliantly blended family. And a whole lot of joy.

This was the loveliest kind of wedding - completely unpretentious, relaxed and gloriously authentic.

Islington weddings are fab. There are so many brilliant little spots around the Town Hall for photos….gorgeous streets, architecture, doorways and all those very London details.

A London bus gave all guests the chance to drink ch*****ne whilst meandering through London before heading to The Albion pub for the most delicious food. No big performance, no unnecessary fuss. Just two people surrounded by their favourite people, eating, drinking, laughing and generally having a bloody good time.

The most gorgeous Liverpool wedding, with sunshine absolutely pouring in. ☀️

A day surrounded by their favourite people - close friends, family, and, of course, their lovely little boy right in the middle of it all.

From the grandeur of St George’s Hall to wandering through Queen Avenue, with beautiful light bouncing off Liverpool’s grand old buildings, this city really showed off.

Deliciously grand architecture, big sunshine, lots of love and the loveliest people. A proper Liverpool wedding. 🤍

This gorgeous pair tied the knot at Islington Town Hall last month. 🤍 It was one of those rainy, blustery days that’s hard to imagine after the recent heatwave - but today’s weather has reminded me that it’s about time I shared this beautiful wedding.

I’ve been lucky enough to photograph lots of weddings at Islington this season, and as you know, I absolutely love a city wedding. Danyka looked incredible in her shorter dress with a flowing cape; the whole day had such a relaxed, informal vibe, and the love between these two was an absolute joy to capture.

Ten lovely years together.

Ten years of building a life, becoming a family, and choosing each other through everything.

Ali and Del are a proper unit. The kind of couple who make you believe that love can be equal parts unwavering support, ridiculous laughter and absolute devotion.

I first met Ali when she taught my kids at The Big Comedy Shop. I remember admiring her beautiful engagement ring and saying I’d be happy to shoot her wedding one day.
Eight years later… here we are.

Their wedding was everything you’d imagine. Full-on, roasting hot, joyful, emotional and absolutely bursting with love. Every person there was celebrating two people who are so deeply loved, because they love so deeply in return. Ali and her Baldheaded Lover absof**kinglutely nailed the day!

Here’s to the happiest of lives together. May you keep laughing, keep choosing each other, and keep being exactly who you are.

Emma & Joe celebrated with their three children and their closest family members by their side, keeping the focus exactly where they wanted it - on the people who matter most.

Days like this are a reminder of why photography matters. Not because of the details or the venue, but because it preserves a moment in time and the people we share it with.
