✈️ Mayday Mayday! This curious scene once lay hidden in the forest of Belgium, shadowed by trees. Fear not, it is not the scene of a tragic aeroplane crash! This was actually a movie prop, left behind after the final wrap.

🇺🇸🍔 Little Nellies Diner, Newbury. This American-themed eatery transported customers back in time to the 1950s. That is, before it closes down!

The inside is flooded, thanks to a busted water main in the kitchen area. The large puddle forming on the restaurant floor has bloomed with green algae. It offers a pleasing pop of colour that contrasts exquisitely with the red leather upholsterer seating of the booths.

For decades, it has stood here, away from public roads and in a forestry logging area. The forest has now swallowed the old track that once drove the car here, leaving it alone among the conifers.

No one knows the story of why was left here, a mystery which only adds to its beauty (in my opinion anyway 😊)

Decaying slowly after sitting abandoned for decades, a huge fire destroyed what little remained. Only the facade was preserved, which will front a new block of flats.
