This one’s been sitting with me for a while. I don’t know about you but I see a lot of polarising opinions on social media when it comes to weddings. Lots of “advice” on how things should be done, how they shouldn’t be done…

Maybe you should do your wedding your own way… maybe you shouldn’t. Maybe you should have a videographer/content creator… even a photographer… or maybe you shouldn’t.

It’s amazing that these platforms give us a great opportunity to voice things, to provide future couples with some advice backed by our own experience… maybe that’s a good thing… maybe it’s not. Maybe it’s been secretly shaping the industry into what it is today. To what we believe weddings should be about.

Maybe we’re right… maybe you should listen. But maybe we’ve got it all wrong. Because whilst there’s a s**t tonne of maybes… the only real one that matters is this…

Maybe years of experience means we should start asking the better questions, rather than assuming we know all the answers.

I'm not entirely sure how this happend, somewhere along the line I forgot to post a few from this INCREDIBLE day. In fact, I haven't really posted images for a while and considering that's probably the thing that people want to see, it might help.

Anyway, this is Evie and Mike... 2 of the most incredible people anyone could ask to meet. Hearts of absolute gold.

Mike even bought his other lady to the wedding... Silvia... And Evie was all for it! Now, car nerds might get that, others will think 'what kind of wedding was this?!'

But when a wedding is truly yours and when it even involves racing sims, well... That's what it's really about.

Genuine question, if the stats are true and 75-85% of content is consumed on mute, can someone explain to me why Instagram pushes trending audio? Or indeed, why there’s a need to speak at all?

Also, if you don’t listen to this with the audio on, you’re probably missing out.

2 minutes 20 seconds… I tried haha. But somethings just can’t be condensed into 30 seconds and I just want to say what I want to say without jumping through hoops, I’ll trust those that need to see this will.

But yeah, if you’ve seen any of my videos you might be thinking I’m quite a deep person… that’s true. But there is another side to me. I guess this is your heads up.

That’s the strange thing about photography. You aren’t just preserving what matters now.

You’re leaving something behind for a version of yourself you haven’t met yet.

A little look at Tara and Dan's day at Abel's Harp.

It was hot... I mean hot! Yet somehow, despite being in a wedding dress all day, Tara managed to hold it together and look incredible all day.

I think we might start having to re-evaluate how we prep for weddings, no longer is it "what if it rains", but more "what do we do when it's hotter than hell"

Fans and Aircon are going to be the biggest trend of 2027... And that's one trend I can jump on!

I've been sitting with this for a while now. People often think that over time a photograph can become more valuable, but I don't think that's necessarily the case.

The value has always been there, it's just the questions we ask are different questions.

You see, the true value in a photograph lies in answering the future questions that we can't possibly have imagined yet.
