15 frames from Julie and George’s wedding at

I could not have asked for a more genuine and sweet couple to pop up to Northumberland to photograph for!

In March, I traveled to Gretna Green for the super secret elopement of Katherine, Josh, and their faithful companion, Moss. And now they’ve told their nearest and dearest I can share a few photos!

Having previously photographed Katherine as a bridesmaid, it was an honor to be invited back to capture her own wedding. This ceremony was particularly meaningful not only did I get to document some really tender, honest moments, I also had the rare privilege of acting as a witness to their vows!

After the ceremony we had a look around the Gretna Green Museum, went for a pint and had some fun taking a few portraits!

Proof of life! I honestly don’t know how people post every day being a “content creator” feels like a career path I definitely didn’t sign up for. I’m much happier behind the lens than I am trying to “curate” a feed.

The best part of this job just the photography it’s that it takes me out of my bubble here in the middle of the Lincolnshire countryside. I get to meet people I wouldn’t have normally met, I crash their best day ever, and leave them with proof that it all really happened, while I leave with my own awesome memories.

I cannot wait for the 2026 season to kick off because I miss that!

Morning Prep!

Less close up of your mouth being coated in the worlds finest lipstick 💋 and more about personality, the feeling of the morning, catching little inconspicuous moments like a dad writing his speech or a brother cooking your a sausage bun or walking in to the girls getting ready and taking a photo because I’ve spent time getting to know everyone and I can get away with it!

It’s my first wedding of 2026 tomorrow and I always get nervous like it’s my first wedding ever! Hopefully I remember how to use a camera! 🤞

I know I need to show my face on social media but it’s so hard to talk about myself! I’m just a dad who spends half the year photographing awesome people get married and then spend the off season trying to be a cool dad and going to the gym trying to fight against the aging process!

I’ve had a bit of a website refresh and talk about how I got into taking photos so this seems like a good excuse to show my face!

It’s that time of year where there is a lot of noise
on social media from wedding suppliers wanting your attention and rightly so. We are small businesses,
it’s marketing and we want to find our people

BUT PLEASE...

Ignore the top tips nothing unique came from follow what a random person says is the best way of doing something that is personal to you.

You can also ignore what I am saying. I’m just a small business using social media trying to find my people!

The sisters Laura and Catherine

One family. Two sisters. Two weddings, four years apart getting married to two different Toms.

Catherine and Toms was wedding in 2021 at and then invited again to photograph for Laura and Tom (a different Tom!) in 2025 at

I meet people by chance the universe putting us in each other’s paths and then I’m trusted to capture moments they’ll carry with them forever and pass on to future generations. Being asked back to document another chapter of their families story is something I’ll never take for granted.

Honestly it blows my mind I get to meet people I’d have never met if I didn’t do this amazing job and get entrusted in capturing memories for them ❤️

2026 started with a bit of an existential wobble (or perhaps some kind of mid life crisis 😳) Trying to work out where I fit in the wedding industry as my work evolves.

I’m not documentary.
I’m not alternative.
I’m not luxury.

The more I thought about it, I don’t really want a title it’s only marketing myself that requires me to fit into a label.

I’m just a guy who shows up, pays attention, and photographs your wedding. So there’s my label!

Here’s some evening photos from Alex and Gabriel’s amazing party at from a guy who turned up and photographed stuff happening!

I’ve somehow been in the wedding industry a long time!

Long enough to remember feeling the pressure to have an answer for everything, sometimes taking on responsibilities beyond photography, to know the poses and to guide the moments. It didn’t feel right that I had that kind of influence.

What’s changed is that couples are seeing through the superficial and are asking for less of that with more time to just enjoy themselves with less focus on what the photos will look like.

This is forcing a positive change in the wedding industry which I am very grateful for!
