These days the camera on your phone can give excellent results, often indistinguishable from a "proper" camera. What matters most isn't the equipment, so much as how you use it. Last season we had an excellent lecture on how to get the most out of your smartphone camera, and a competition where all the images were taken with a smartphone. We were amazed with the results!
