Hopefully the good weather sticks around for a bit longer.
Cat and Fiddle is closed from next week for 3 months, in case you aren't aware, so I'll be there on Saturday for probably the last time this year- it's pretty bleak up there in winter🥶.

So, I saw a fancy bird flying around when I was out on the A85 at the weekend.
I couldn't tell if it was big, or just very far away (in the words of Father Ted), but i took a pic with my 70-200mm. I've got a 100-500mm too, but didn't have it with me.🙄
The first pic is the original image.

Didn't think much of it, until I was editing the images and zoomed in (pic 2), it's not the best pic,but blow me, if wasn't a Golden Eagle!🤯

I'm no expert, so happy to be corrected, but comparing it to an image off the interweb,(pic 3) I reckon it is.

Anyway, my Mum was well impressed.

Location Change!

I was going to be out on the A82 at Glen Coe tomorrow, but after sitting at the Green Welly all day and seeing all the bikes go down the A85, and checking it out on my ride home, I'm going to be on the A85 / Old Military Road instead.

Hopefully I'll see more bikes than campervans!

I'll be between Tyndrum and Dalmally.
