Flight of the Gannet, this image capture from my recent visit to RSBP Bempton cliffs along the East Coast of Yorkshire 4 miles from crab and lobster fishing port of Bridlington. I set my task for the day was an over head shot with crashing waves as the background. Time was the hardest part of the photograph i only had a two seconds when the seabird was within my frame to focus and press the shutter button, a shot like this before digital a bank loan would have been needed for all the fill and processing. Out of all the images from this spot during the afternoon I was their i have two that I am happy with the above photograph is one.
To add to the image I used a slower shutter speed to add a little bit of movement in the North Sea below the Cliff edge this added to the difficult picture process and final image capture. Working on my trusted Nikon Z9 fitted with the Nikon 180-600 zoom lens made it possible to hand hold. RSPB Bempton Cliffs what’s your thoughts on this photograph leave a message below in the comments

Memories of the Gannets enjoying coffee watching and photographing this beautiful seabird
Gannets are seabirds comprising the genus Morus in the family Sulidae, closely related to bo***es. They are known as ‘solan’ or ‘solan goose’ in Scotland. A common misconception is that the Scottish name is ‘guga’ but this is the Gaelic name referring to the chicks only.
