Probably my last set of pictures from the Cambridge road trip. The colleges were holding various graduation ceremonies giving the town that 'end of school' feeling with memories being made and captured all around. Groups of friends unified in that sentiment of, 'We made it, it was great, it's done now, let's never lose contact.... "

On the way to Cambridge, for a long overdue 'Street Photo Road-Trip'  and I stopped off at the American military cemeter...

On the way to Cambridge, for a long overdue 'Street Photo Road-Trip' and I stopped off at the American military cemetery, at Madingley Road, where nearly 4000 US service personnel (mainly from World War 2) have been laid to rest.

We found the grounds staff carefully preparing for the upcoming Memorial Day commemorative ceremonies which taken place on the last Monday of May each year.

With so many war graves in one place and so many names of the fallen perhaps the most poignant are those marked 'Known But To God'...
