Isn’t it incredible how quickly children grow-up? In the blink of an eye they go from being adorable, gurgling babies to assertive three-year olds running rings around you. The next thing you know, they’re teenagers heading off into their adult lives! As a photographer and a mother, I know how important it is to capture beautiful images of your little ones as they grow. I specialise in working with babies, children and families, capturing those special milestones in portraits that you will cherish forever. Whether you want a picture of your newborn to revisit those feelings of love and awe you experienced when you first looked at this tiny human you created, or a lively shot of your whole family group, I have the technical skills and artistic flair to provide you with portraits you will adore. I am passionate about my work and love the process of creating portraits full of love, laughter and personality. It’s important that you and your family are completely at ease during the shoot, so I never work from a studio; I will visit you in an environment in which you feel completely relaxed. I often find that the best, most natural portraits can be captured in your own home, where your children can play with familiar toys and completely disregard the lady with the camera. I avoid formality so I won’t ask you to assume awkward poses or “say cheese”, and most importantly I want everybody to have fun. And don’t worry about toddler temper tantrums or camera-shy teenagers – with over five years of professional experience, I have seen it all and know the tricks that guarantee great results even when the little ones don’t seem keen to play along.
