PROM 2026 did not disappoint ✨😊

I honestly love pre-prom shoots so much. Seeing everyone all glammed up, feeling amazing, and getting excited for the night ahead! It's your very first taste of a BIG NIGHT OUT....🙌🏼🪩

Every single one of these absolute queens looked stunning, but it was the energy between them that made this shoot. The laughs, the excitement, and the way they all hyped each other up... that's the magic I love capturing.

I know you all the best night and thank you for letting me be a little part of it. These are the memories you'll look back on for years to come. ❤️📸

Of course I had to let Olive 🐶 in on the action.....if there's a dog around it's being featured and that's a non negotiable 😉🤎🤎🤎📸😝

This one was a little bit special for me 🥹🥰📸

I've known Kyle and Amy for years, not only as neighbours but I've also had the privilege of watching them grow together as a couple and build their beautiful little family ❤️

I know I say it all the time, but being trusted to capture moments like these for people you genuinely know and care about really does mean the world to me. To be invited into such an important chapter of someone's story is something I'll never take for granted.

Congratulations again, Mr & Mrs Varney 🤍 Thank you for letting me be a small part of such a special day.

I wish you all the happiness in the world.....you both truly deserve it 😘

So this week has been a little different for me as I welcomed my very first "full week" work experience student from MFG. 📸

I've had a fabulous week and I just want to say a huge thank you to my student Dylan for being such a great sidekick. To say we'd never met before Monday, there hasn't been a single moment of awkwardness and I'm definitely gonna miss his presence next week.....mind his personality started to shine through yesterday ... along with the sarcasm and banter! 😉

In all seriousness though, I really hope I've taught him something valuable this week... not just about photography, but also about what it takes to run a small business, wear a million different hats and turn a passion into a career. Hopefully I haven't bored him to tears and put him off for life 👀🙏🏼

I've been genuinely impressed by how quickly Dylan took to using a professional camera, learning the settings and what it takes to create a good photo, as you can see from the photographs he's captured, he definitely has an eye for it and he should most certainly be incredibly proud of what he has achieved ☺️🙌🏻📸

I would like to wish Dylan the best of luck in his final year of school and I look forward to seeing where this bright young lads path takes him ......you are welcome back anytime kid ✨

Mr & Mrs Mellor to be...🤍

You guys really do make my job an absolute breeze. Such a gorgeous family! 😍

One of the lovely extras included in my **Full Day Wedding Package** is a complimentary engagement session 📸.

The best thing about it? There are no rules! You can use the session however you like. Whether it's beautiful couple portraits for your save-the-dates, updated family photos, bringing the dog along, or simply spending an hour together creating some gorgeous memories - it's completely up to you.

It's also a great opportunity for us to get to know each other before the wedding. You'll see how I work, get comfortable in front of the camera, and by the time your big day arrives, everything feels so much more natural and relaxed.

A little extra that makes such a big difference. 🤍✨

I hate posting stuff like this but it's important I communicate how overwhelming it can sometimes be running a business totally on your own.

Over the last 3 weeks alone, I have taken over **5,000 photographs** and created **3 hours of video content**.

Every single image and video has to be individually reviewed before editing even begins. From there, each gallery is carefully edited, processed and perfected, a process that takes many hours, weeks, and even months depending on the shoot and current editing queue. Timlines for delivery are provided but these can run over due to unexpected issues.

Alongside editing, I'm also working through emails, messages, orders and enquiries. I know some of you are waiting for replies, and I truly appreciate your patience. Please understand that it's just "little old me" behind the scenes.....I don't have a team or an assistant, so every part of the business is handled personally.

I'm incredibly grateful to be so busy after a few quieter months, and I'm currently fully booked for the next few weeks. While I'd love nothing more than to photograph one session, edit it immediately and deliver it before moving on to the next, that's simply not how a small creative led business like mine can operate.

One of the reasons I'm able to keep my prices as affordable as they are is by photographing multiple sessions each week and then working through the editing queue in order. If I only completed one shoot from start to finish before taking on the next, I'd have to charge significantly more for my sessions to make that business model sustainable.

Please know that every gallery receives the same level of care and attention, no matter where it sits in the queue. I never rush your memories just to get them out the door - that's the whole purpose in doing a job I love.....it's not just work it's a creative passion.

Sending follow-up messages asking for updates won't move you further up the queue.....it simply means more time spent away from editing and responding to everyone else.

Thank you so much for your patience, understanding and continued support. Every booking genuinely means the world to me, and I'm working through everything as quickly as I can - your images and content means just as much to me as they hopefully will to you.

Oh and if you see me out having a wine this weekend .....please know it's well deserved after a 60 hour working week 😘
