You’re not just doing it for you — you’re doing it for your family’s story.

Yesterday my grandparents pulled out their old wedding and family albums, and my kids were completely captivated. Watching them see the past come to life on paper was something else.

When my grandparents had those photos taken 65 years ago, I doubt they ever imagined their great-grandchildren would be sitting there, flicking through them in awe.

And it made me think… if my nan had decided not to book those photos because she didn’t feel confident, we’d never have these moments to look back on. These tiny, fleeting snapshots that somehow hold so much life.

We live in such an instant, digital world that we forget how powerful photographs really are — especially the ones we can hold in our hands. Because in the end, when the moment has passed, they’re what remain.

So if you’re not feeling your most confident right now, please don’t let that stop you. One day, you’ll look back and wish you could step right back into this version of you.
