Pockets of Light.
One of the best things about walking the streets of Manhattan was seeing all of the amazing pockets of light coming through the buildings! Crosswalks perfectly lit, light cascading down single buildings and throwing shadows across the city, makes for a photographers dream!
Since launching Hummingbird and Grounded, most of my photography life sees me shooting content for both businesses, so when the opportunity comes to pull out the Fuji X100S and leave the stress of work behind, I grab it! And what a place to grab it!
On the first day, I caught a glimpse of someone walking through a pocket of light, while we were walking from Grand Central to our hotel… and I knew instantly I wanted to make a little mini series of how these little pockets of light, light up the city!
