Thanks so much for checking out our page. I’m Lor, the founder of Blossom and Bloom Lanarkshire.
As a mum myself with 2 young children, I know how tough it can be to juggle everything, working, cooking, cleaning, and listening to moaning all day... and that's just from my husband!
Throw in motherhood (24/7), and it can feel overwhelming.
After going through IVF and experiencing two difficult pregnancies (including one during Covid), I know how important support is and how lonely it can feel without it. I would have loved a chance to meet local mums, ask questions, and just feel seen. That’s exactly why I started these groups, to create a relaxed, supportive space for other mums and mums-to-be.
Here’s what we offer:
🤰🏻 Baby Blossoms (Pregnancy Classes)
A 6-week pregnancy support class to join at any stage of your pregnancy.
We meet Monday evenings (7–8:30pm) to chat about everything from bottles to birth plans. It’s a mix of practical prep and genuine support from people who get it. Pay-as-you-go options available for mums nearing their due date. We often have 1st, 2nd and 3rd time mums in attendance too. It’s a great way to make new mum friends.
👶 Parents-to-Be Workshops.
We offer both group and private classes.
These 3-hour tailored workshops cover a variety of different subjects such as learning essentials in newborn care or for our private workshops a more tailored plan. Perfect for new parents, including birth partners, who want hands-on help and guidance. Single, same s*x, adoptive & fostering parents all welcome.
🩷 Parents to be 4 week course - An intensive but relaxed programme designed to allow you and your birth partner to feel prepared for baby’s arrival. Covering essentials in new born care, feeding options and our antenatal and postnatal education, there’s a lot you’ll learn.
🌱 Fertility Support - We have a private group on Facebook called ‘Fertility Support Lanarkshire’. Here you can chat with others on their own journey or sit quietly in the background taking comfort in other’s posts. Meet ups and events will be posted in the group.
🤝 The Bloom Room - A free women in business meetup every few months. No fluff, guest speakers, just real chat and support.
We also run one-off events from time to time which will be advertised on our socials or website.
No matter your background, family setup, or how you're feeling — our doors (and hearts) are open. These groups are for you.
