A lovely day full of warmth, laughter and brilliant people, set against the characterful streets and harbour of the Black Isle’s most picturesque towns. It was such a pleasure to capture it all.

A wonderful Sunday photographing the final What’s Your Water? event on the River Nairn near Cawdor with Findhorn, Nairn & Lossie Rivers Trust.

It was wonderful to see local stories, walks and printmaking bring people together around the burns and rivers that shape this quietly beautiful part of the Highlands. Delicious cake from The Olive Tree Kitchen too.

I love to document community-led projects like this, capturing both the activity and the connections they create while working across photography and filmmaking. (Some short form video coming very soon...)

Looking forward to seeing what else develops with these projects in the future.

A few photographs from a lovely Sunday spent in Pluscarden with the Findhorn, Nairn & Lossie Rivers Trust — exploring the River Lossie and its tributaries through storytelling, local history and printmaking.

The events included a guided folklore walk with Marcus Caldwell and map-making with artist Fiona Black. A pleasure to document the people, places and stories connecting these communities with their local river. 📷

I'm delighted to have provided photography and video content for the brand-new Macbeth's Butcher and Game Dealer website.

Working with a family-run business that's so passionate about quality, provenance and Scottish produce was a real pleasure, and it was fantastic to help tell their story through authentic imagery and film.
