I try to make everything on the day as stress free & calm as possible, when you’re relaxed and enjoying the best day of your life, how could you not look absolutely gorgeous 😍

Early last year I attended the Sustainable Wedding Alliance Summit and after a day of incredible talks & workshops we were all asked to make a biodiversity pledge - mine was to hand over part of our garden to nature.

We stopped mowing, added native wildflower seed from and this is what it’s looks like now - full of colour & buzzing with life! I’m out there with my coffee every morning looking to see what new flowers have appeared 🤍

The UK is considered one of the most nature-depleted countries globally & 97% of the UK’s wildflower meadows have been lost since 1930. In addition to our home ‘meadow’ I also fund 1m sq of wildflowers, wetlands and wildlife restoration for every wedding booking 🌿

Your wedding doesn’t have to follow a script, it’s your day and it should feel meaningful to you 🤍

A bride told me recently they’re swapping the cake for an espresso martini tower - because they’re not fussed on cake but they do love a cocktail 🍸

I’ve photographed a couple who got ready and walked to the church together, and I’ve been a witness for a bride and groom who wanted to quietly get married, just the two of them, before heading off for a drive thru! 

Some couples choose to skip speeches because they’re not public speakers (and why should you have to worry about that all day!) and one of my weddings had an extra first dance for their grandparents, who never got their own 🥹

You’re allowed to pause and ask ‘do we actually want this?’
