So gave us homework for this first of 2026.

While technically not a self portrait this one is a rare grab by my beautiful wife, . I usually purposely ruin it anytime she tries to get sneaky. Maybe it was something about being in Galway Ireland. Maybe it was the festive pub. Part of it was most definitely the whiskey. Either way, this time I played along.

If you’ve never been to Scotland or Ireland, I cannot recommend it enough! Go. Now!

After 4 days in Edinburgh, the rain finally found us in Galway.

The storm moved in and out pretty quick. Here’s 3 different views of the Galway Cathedral less than 20 minutes apart.

Full disclosure I did give the first one a bit of a “Harry Potter” color grading but I promise the clouds did look that dramatic.

It was more rainy than foggy, but those empty streets! 🤌🏽👌🏽
