Is that me? In a photo? Taking photos?

August has been a busy month for the cast! Between working up a sweat in dance rehearsals, they've also been making the most of their summer holidays.

In the rehearsal room, we're starting to see glimpses of costumes coming together, our wonderful props lady has been busy taking notes, and the lovely has been capturing photos of the cast for the programme.

Meanwhile, our principals took to the streets of Newbury for our official promotional photo shoot, and our director has been enjoying a true busman's holiday by squeezing in as many theatre trips as possible between rehearsals!

This one's an autobiographical song - about me believing that to be popular and liked I have to be a character or hide behind a mask - at least that's where I was in 2001!

On Monday, song number 2 from my upcoming second album will be available. A little song I originally had no real intention of ever wanting people to hear as I was written primarily as a bit of personal therapy at the time (pretty much exactly 25 years ago). It's a bit weird that I'll be sharing it, but it's also very exciting!
