I have started a journey which will hopefully be fun and also help a local charity close to my heart. Last year during lockdown I rekindled by love for photography, initially using my iPhone, then added a telescope and was also very kindly gifted a DSLR (thanks Dan). Last year I also joined the board of Action for Children in the North East. As part of my fund raising last year I slept out on Whitley Bay beach as part of "Boycott Your Bed" and raised just over £3k.
This year I am struggling to think of a novel place to "Boycott My Bed" again so while I put my thinking cap on I thought I'd try and mix my charity and (astro)photography together and build this - thanks to Rich S for the inspiration and also the name 😉
I'll be posting new pictures as and when I take them and profits of all prints sold on the site will go to Action for Children. I'll post regular blogs with new pictures and also the latest amount donated to Action for Children. Here goes - a small set of prints will go live tonight - wish me luck! :)
