It’s been a while, but it was fantastic to be back at the lovely Charlton Hall yesterday for the wedding of Megan & Dean

I thought we’d be stuck indoors when we saw the torrential rain on the journey up, which lasted right up until just before the ceremony. Then, almost perfectly, the sun came out, making for gorgeous conditions for the drinks reception and family photos

After the speeches, I grabbed Megan & Dean for some lovely portraits in Charlton Hall signature ceremony space

The evening was polished off with DJ Steven Maddison doing what he does best, consistently keeping guests on the dance floor, before we finished with a ch*****ne photo that Megan & Dean executed perfectly!

It’s been non-stop editing over the last couple of weeks as I prepare to head into another busy run of weddings from next week onwards

However, yesterday I found out that the two images above had both won Flash Masters Awards, including Emma & Joshua’s wedding party photo at Grantley Hall , which won the prestigious Gold Award!

It’s always a strange feeling winning these international awards, especially when they’re judged by photographers I’ve looked up to since I first became a wedding photographer

As always, a huge thank you to Emma McAree, Josh McAree , their wedding party, Sarah Ox and Darren for believing in me and allowing me to create these types of photos ❤️

A couple of weeks ago I was at the amazing Healey Barn for the wedding of Felicia Chhantini Harrison-Halim & Alex Halim , and what a wedding it was!

Instead of a traditional first dance as husband and wife, Felicia & Alex went for something a little different and had an amazing salsa dance, with all of their guests joining in!

The dance floor was absolutely packed, and the atmosphere in the room was unbelievable. What a way to get the party started!

On Sunday I was back at the lovely Horton Grange Country House for the fourth time in as many weeks to capture the wedding of the beautiful Stephanie Porter & Tom Porter

Despite the rain making regular appearances throughout the day, we somehow timed everything to perfection. The showers eased just when we needed them to, allowing us to enjoy confetti, family photos, and, of course, some absolutely stunning golden-hour portraits

It was another incredible day at one of my favourite venues

Yesterday, I had the absolute pleasure of capturing the beautiful wedding of Anna & Tom at the stunning Hospitium Weddings in York

From the moment I arrived at Anna’s parents’ house for the morning preparations, it genuinely felt like I was walking into a friend’s home. We laughed, tidied up, chatted about Disney films, and enjoyed such a relaxed start to what was an incredible day

As huge Disney fans, Anna & Tom had woven subtle Beauty and the Beast touches throughout their wedding day, making it feel even more personal and magical

Anna made the most unforgettable entrance, arriving at the church in a stunning horse and carriage before the celebrations continued at the gorgeous Hospitium in the heart of York

To finish the day, we headed into the beautiful York Museum Gardens, where we were lucky enough to have exclusive access after the public had left at 6pm. It gave us the perfect opportunity to create some truly beautiful evening portraits in one of York’s most iconic locations

It was a genuine pleasure and privilege to be part of your wedding day

Two weeks ago, I was back at the beautiful Horton Grange Country House to capture the wedding of the lovely LLC & Bradley Cutter

Genuinely, they’re two of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet. You can’t help but have a smile on your face when you’re around them

From the morning preparations right through to the evening celebrations, my team and I were constantly smiling as we captured both their photography and videography. It was one of those weddings that reminded us exactly why we love what we do

Saturday took me to the stunning Grantley Hall for the beautiful wedding of the gorgeous Emma McAree & Josh McAree, all under blazing sunshine

It was the perfect traditional wedding day, with a beautiful outdoor ceremony followed by drinks in The Orchard, where everyone could relax and soak up the incredible weather

As the sun began to set, the atmosphere shifted from relaxed to electric. The amazing Apollo Music had the dance floor absolutely packed, with guests dancing the night away from the very first song

A huge thank you to Emma & Joshua for making me feel so welcome and for putting their complete trust in me throughout the day. It was an absolute pleasure to capture such a special celebration at one of the most beautiful venues in the country
