Sian & Russell 🤍

Last month I had the absolute pleasure of photographing this gorgeous pair at Healey Barn in Northumberland, and what a beautiful day it was. The sun was shining, the vibes were high and there was so much personality woven through every part of the day.

The morning started just along the road at Healey Hall, where I joined Sian, her bridal squad and the loveliest hair and makeup team for the getting ready. Sian looked incredible in her classic Bardot-style dress with the most beautiful long train

Then it was over to Healey Barn for the ceremony. These two have such brilliant taste in music, and that definitely came through when they chose the incredibly talented Jane Gray pianist to play them down the aisle

After the ceremony, everyone spilled out into the courtyard to enjoy the sunshine, drinks, garden games and a little light reading of the wedding newspaper designed by Sian herself which was a lovely personal touch

Then came the speeches. Sian’s dad had us all in stitches with his giant cue cards, Russell delivered a brilliant speech, and Sian herself absolutely smashed it too.

After the wedding breakfast, we escaped into the woodland for some photos. All very romantic… until my phone decided to give us a government warning about wildfires while we were deep in the woods 😂 Probably not the ideal place to receive that particular notification!

Then came the evening. Despite the heat, that dancefloor was PACKED. High energy, big tunes and the best kind of wedding chaos under the giant disco ball 🪩

Amy & Dan!

Chasing sunsets with Amy and Dan was without a doubt one of my highlights of this wedding season 🌞

Amy, barefoot on the gravel, and Dan being the absolute gent he is, piggybacking her as we all manically ran towards that ever-dipping golden glow 😂

Last month Amy and Dan tied the knot at Horton Grange and it was such a beautiful day! The loveliest family, the most relaxed atmosphere, and so many little moments that made the day completely theirs.

It was also my first ever outdoor ceremony at Horton Grange and OH MY GOD 😍 Nestled amongst the little woodland area, it was the most stunning backdrop. Amy looked incredible in her chic high-neck dress and epic veil. We watched her handsome boys es**rt the bridesmaids down the aisle, followed by Amy with her eldest son.

Then came the limoncello and plenty of it! This was a couple who were determined to look after their wedding suppliers, which basically resulted in me being force-fed a limoncello during the drinks reception. I mean… I wasn’t exactly complaining! 🤣

While the guests mingled and enjoyed the garden games (including an impressively homemade bean bag toss, courtesy of Dan himself!), we somehow discovered that Amy’s sister used to be my art teacher. MIND. BLOWN. Small world!

Then it was time for speeches, a gorgeous wedding breakfast, more drinks and mingling outside before the evening celebrations.

Amy and Dan took centre stage for their first dance and absolutely smashed an incredible choreographed routine in front of all their guests, complete with an EPIC lift at the end

From barefoot sunset chases and woodland vows to limoncello fuelled drinks receptions and show stopping first dances… Amy and Dan, your wedding was an absolute joy to be part of.

Lauren & Kieran’s wedding day🤍

What a bloody brilliant day this was! I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Lauren & Kieran’s wedding at the beautiful Doxford Barns at the start of August, and what a pair they are. Great couple, great people and a mint sense of humour!

The weather, however, clearly hadn’t received the memo. Despite Lauren & Kieran paying the legendary Etsy witch to sort the sunshine, the rain decided it was absolutely not playing ball. Thankfully, it didn’t dampen the day one bit.

The morning started with Lauren and her bridal party getting ready in the Coop upstairs, while Kieran and the boys got suited and booted in the Morning Room.

Then ceremony was STUNNING! Lauren made her entrance down that stunning staircase before the two of them exchanged their own personal vows 🥺

Straight after the ceremony, their gorgeous little fur baby arrived for a few photos, before the newlyweds headed off to enjoy some drinks and celebrate with their guests

Then it was time for the wedding breakfast, and the speeches certainly didn’t disappoint. But the biggest surprise of the day (especially for Kieran) was the infamous waiter surprise! 😂 The look on his face as he realised what was happening while picking up all the scattered cutlery was absolutely priceless haha

After the wedding breakfast, we got a little break in the rain. So we grabbed our opportunity and headed outside for some couple portraits. These two are stunners, which made my job easy

Finally came the evening celebrations and the first dance was EPIC. Cold sparks, dry ice and two very loved-up newlyweds. Unreal!

Marcella & Sam 🤍

What a beautiful day this was! At the start of August, Marcella and Sam tied the knot!

We started the morning at Derwent Manor Boutique Hotel, where Marcella was getting ready surrounded by her lovely group of friends. I’ve known this group for years and they really are as beautiful inside as they are out

Marcella’s bridal look was incredible! I’m a complete sucker for a square neckline and the bow detail on the back of her dress was just perfect

Once everyone was ready, we headed off to their family church where Marcella and Sam officially tied the knot. The ceremony was beautiful, followed by drinks around the church grounds.

Then it was back to Derwent Manor for more celebrating. The speeches were hilarious, heartfelt and incredibly emotional. With the couple heading off to start a new chapter of their lives in Dubai just a few days later, there definitely wasn’t a dry eye in the room

After food came one of my favourite parts of the day… country & cocktails 🤠🍸 Cowboy hats, themed cocktails and a fabulous country singer had everyone up dancing, laughing and fully embracing the theme!

Then the evening started! One of my absolute favourite wedding bands, Andy Usher Band, turned up and absolutely took the roof off! 🔥 The dance floor was packed, everyone was laughing and dancing, and watching it all unfold underneath that huge, impressive chandelier was the perfect way to end such an incredible day.

What a day for Georgi & James 🤍

Back in July, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing these two at the beautiful Jesmond Dene House — and I already knew it was going to be a good one!

I’ve known Georgi since my call centre days, so I know first-hand that she’s got the best craic… and James is her perfect match!! Together, they’re such a great couple, with a brilliant sense of humour and an infectious energy. Add their two lovely kids into the mix and you’ve got one very special family.

The day started up in the apartment with Georgi and her bridesmaids getting ready.

Then it was time for the ceremony… and what a ceremony it was. Georgi looked absolutely breathtaking walking down the aisle with her dad, and it was an emotional moment that even brought James to tears. 🥹

Afterwards, we headed into the gorgeous little garden area for drinks, oysters and plenty of good vibes, with the very talented Sonny providing the perfect soundtrack 🎶 — followed by a brilliant Glitterbox DJ set.

The wedding breakfast was just as lively, with the speeches bringing plenty of laughs and emotion, before the singing waiters turned up the energy even further! 🎤

And then came the evening… confetti cannons, LOTS of dancing, and, of course, the England match thrown into the mix 🤣⚽️

Georgi & James, what a day! Thank you for letting me be part of it and for trusting me to capture all the madness, laughter, tears and everything in between.

Amber & Annabell

Earlier this month I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Amber and Annabell’s beautiful wedding at the South Causey Inn, and what an incredible day it was from start to finish. These two are such a lovely couple!

The morning began with the brides getting ready separately alongside their bridesmaids and bridesmen. Amber looked stunning in a timeless strapless gown with a full skirt, while Annabell absolutely rocked a sharp three-piece suit.

We were treated to glorious sunshine all day, making the perfect backdrop for an emotional ceremony. You could genuinely feel how happy everyone was for these two.

After the ceremony, everyone headed out into the gardens for cocktails while the brilliant Paul Innes entertained guests with mind-reading that left everyone completely baffled

One of my favourite moments had to be during the couple portraits, when Annabell’s thumb seemed to have a mind of its own and somehow resembled a Lego hand. 😂 we were all in stitches!

The celebrations continued with heartfelt speeches from Ambers sister and both m**s, who shared wonderful stories about their daughters and just how happy they were to see them marry the love of their life. Throughout the wedding breakfast, Charlie Whyte provided the perfect soundtrack, creating such a relaxed and wholesome atmosphere.

Then the evening started! The cake was cut, the first dance was shared, and the rave tunes kicked in!

And just when everyone thought the night couldn’t get any better… the bridesmen and best woman burst onto the dancefloor wearing flame-shaped sunglasses, pushing a trolley full of Fireball shots while Fireball blasted through the speakers. The guests absolutely loved it, and it was the perfect way to kick off the party! 🔥🥃

Katie & John-Paul

At the start of the month I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Katie and John-Paul’s beautiful wedding at South Causey Inn, with the most magical twilight ceremony at 5pm.

From the moment I met Katie over coffee at her pre-wedding meeting, I knew we were going to get on like a house on fire. Her energy is infectious, and she is such a beautiful person inside and out. John-Paul is definitely the calm to Katie’s whirlwind, and together they make the perfect team.

A later ceremony meant the morning was so relaxed, with Katie and her bridesmaids enjoying great music, cocktails and lots of laughs while getting ready. The bond Katie shares with her girls was so special to witness—they’re more like family than friends.

Their children, Lexi and Leo, were such a huge part of the day and honestly couldn’t have been more polite or adorable.

Katie looked absolutely incredible. Her dress was everything—covered in glitter with the most stunning side split that gave it that real wow factor.

The ceremony itself was filled with emotion. Before Katie made her entrance, an audio message from the children was played to John-Paul, and the incredibly talented Sarah Dover sang the bridal party down the aisle. A beautiful seat had also been reserved for Katie’s late mam, ensuring she was still part of such a special day.

The speeches were heartfelt from start to finish. John-Paul’s brother, Michael, revealing that he had stopped a stopwatch at the exact moment they said “I do” and gifted it to them as a keepsake forever. Katie paid a beautiful tribute to her late mam by raising a toast while her favourite song played, asking all of the guests to crack open a can of Irn-Bru—her mam’s favourite drink.

And then… the evening arrived! The dance floor absolutely exploded and the party was wild

✨ Amie & Jack ✨

At the start of July, Amie and Jack tied the knot at Horton Grange 🤍

I genuinely can’t get over how flawless Amie looked… absolutely breathtaking!

The whole day had such a relaxed vibe, with gorgeous weather to top it off. The ceremony was filled with so much emotion, with more than a few happy tears from family and friends.

After saying “I do”, everyone enjoyed the drinks reception in the sunshine before sitting down for the speeches. Jack absolutely nailed his speech—it was the perfect mix of heartfelt moments and hilarious stories.

Once everyone had enjoyed their meal, the talented magician Martin Duffy kept guests entertained before the evening celebrations got underway.

The cake was cut, the first dance was shared, and then the dancefloor came alive! Safe to say everyone had an amazing time… especially Jack, who treated us all to some very memorable dance moves! 😂

Lewis & Adele 🤍

At the start of the month, this lovely couple tied the knot at the beautiful Doxford Barns, and what a day it was!

It was one of those weddings where there was never a dull moment. The sun was absolutely blazing, although the wind clearly decided it deserved a starring role too… definitely a paid actor 😂

One of my favourite parts of the day was seeing Lewis and Adele share it all with their gorgeous little daughter, Maggie. She was such a little character!

Their ceremony was so emotional, with a talented violinist filling the room and candlelight creating the most romantic atmosphere. It was the perfect start to an incredible day.

The drinks reception brought sunshine, acoustic music, and plenty of smiles before everyone headed in for a wild wedding breakfast

Lewis and Adele hired the brilliant Ryan Smith to host Bongos Bingo, and honestly… it was absolute chaos in the best possible way. 😂 From embarrassing guest stories (with perfectly matched prizes!) to dance-offs and nonstop laughter, the energy in the room was incredible.

After all the madness came some truly heartfelt speeches that had everyone laughing one minute and wiping away tears the next.

The evening kicked off with a champagne tower, followed by their first dance and a Mr & Mrs quiz that kept everyone entertained right until the dance floor filled up and the amazing Saxophonist started to play!

Lewis & Adele, thank you for letting me capture such an unforgettable day. Wishing you both (and little Maggie!) a lifetime of happiness 🤍
