"From the North East of England, a new chapter begins..."

One of the highlights of this year was being commissioned by Parkers Chauffers to produce a very special film to mark the occasion of the company joining Pneuma Group to assist with their global growth.

Not only did the legendary Tim Healey record the voiceover, but we got to spin around at various North East landmarks and hospitality venues in the smartest fleet of vehicles I've ever seen!

Thank you to all of the Parkers drivers (who were endlessly patient), the team behind the scenes at Parkers and Pneuma and of course to our our amazing crew here at The Bigger Picture.

As National Volunteers Week draws to a close this weekend, we'd like to celebrate two of our team who give up their precious time to volunteer with organisations in the region. Sue Richards is a Section Team Member with West Gosforth Scout Group; working across Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. She's pictured here on the banks of Lake Windermere during a week-long camp with the kids. Angela Carrington is a Regional Volunteer Officer with the Maritime Volunteer Service and is pictured on the left aboard Northumbria Unit's 28ft patrol vessel on the Tyne.

Members of staff that regularly volunteer can bring an enormous amount of knowledge and experience into a team. It allows them to switch-off from the grind whilst giving something back to the community. As a company, we encourage anyone to give volunteering a try and support our members of the team who occasional need time off to carry out their duties.

From a managerial point of view, if you think that managing a paid work force can be tricky, try managing volunteers! Any member of staff that has the skills to lead in the volunteer space will bring a wealth of highly nuanced experience to your team.

Gorgeous sunshine for the third year in a row! An honour to once again to provide a full media team for Walking With The Wounded at the ‘Cumbrian Challenge’. We’ve provided photography, video and drone coverage across multiple positions of the course, start line and finish line. A fantastic event, in superb scenery and an enormous six figure amount of money raised for a very worthy cause. What’s not to love?

We spent two days last week working with National Autistic Society delivering their Annual Professionals’ Conference. We live-streamed across three studios simultaneously at the wonderful Pride Media Centre and I must give a massive shout to our entire crew from The Bigger Picture Agency Ltd and our extended team of associates. This is the fourth (or fifth?!) year that we’ve delivered online conferencing for the team at NAS and we love being able to produce a professional, creative show on the day as well as supply a raft of on-demand content for their delegates.
