I had a lovely catch-up with Amanda last week, to chat about the next TransVision get together on Sunday 26th July 4-8pm.
I have Hair by Harriet and Cosmetics by Lisa coming along. It should be fun to chat with them and maybe pick up a few tips.
The pool table will be there if anyone fancies a game, and my outdoor decking is down, so we now have a lovely outdoor space too!

As always, the gatherings at my home are about friendship, support and enjoying each other's company.

"Hi everyone, I’m Harriet, a self-employed hair stylist based in Cowes, working from my cosy garden salon.

I’ve been hairdressing since I was 14 years old and have loved building my business through my passion for hair.

I’m also a proud mum to two beautiful boys, and while I love being a mum, growing my business is a huge part of who I am.

💜GET THIS IN YOUR DIARY SUNDAY💜

Our next TransVision get together is at The Chapel from 4-8pm on Sunday 26th July.

This is a friendly, relaxed get together, a chance to spend time together, have a chat, share ideas, and enjoy being in a supportive space. You’re very welcome to come along even if you don’t want a photoshoot in the future.

These get togethers take place in my home, which I also use as my photo studio, and they’re something I do purely to support the transgender community. I don’t receive any financial reward for hosting them — it’s just something nice to do and a way of giving back 💜

We’ll be chatting about:
✨ Hair and wigs
✨ Make-up and beauty treatments, sharing recommendations
✨ styling and what to wear to look your best
✨ Places to go and things to see… and so much more

📸 Free professional photos (optional!)
For anyone who would like a couple of professional photos on the day, I’ll be happy to take some shots at no charge — completely optional and no pressure at all.

👗 Getting changed
There’s a room available to get changed in if you need it.
Please don’t wear stilettos indoors as they stab up my floor 😬 — but feel free to bring them along for photos if you’d like!

📍 The Chapel, Main Rd, Shalfleet, PO30 4ND
(You’ll find it between the traffic lights in Shalfleet, with a “God Loves You” sign on the front)
🚌 On the Number 7 bus route (nearest stop: St Michael’s Close)
🚗 Suggested parking: St Michael’s Close (just before the traffic lights)

☕ Refreshments
Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
If you fancy an alcoholic drink, please BYO.

If you’d like to bring a friend, partner, or supporter, they are very welcome to come along.

💜THIS SUNDAY- TransVision Get Together at The Chapel 💜

Our next TransVision get together is at The Chapel from 2–6pm on Sunday 24th May.

👠(Please don't wear stilletoe shoes or thin heels, as they stab up my floors!)

This is a friendly, relaxed get together, and you’re very welcome to come along even if you don’t want a photoshoot in the future. It’s simply a chance to spend time together, have a chat, share ideas, and enjoy being in a supportive space.

We’ll also be having a fun quiz during the afternoon, just for a bit of light-hearted enjoyment. The quiz I've found is called "Wrong in the Right Answer"
