Hey folks! This was a last minute booking for a super sunny Saturday wedding in the blissful paradise that is Cornwall. And what a banger it was.
After capturing bridal prep at their family home, Rick and Molly - two absolute legends - had a stunning outdoor ceremony followed by an evening of partying as the sun went down. There were horses, epic views, tipis, fantastic food, plenty of booze and the biggest smiles on everyone’s faces.
Rick, Molly and their family are genuinely some of the most warm, welcoming and authentic people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working for. I’ll be very happy if my own wedding turns out to be anything like theirs, it was perfect.
Ya know, having the opportunity to capture these honest and unscripted moments are a good reminder of why I do this. The uncertainty of being self employed, the struggle to find a balance between work and personal life, the countless hours sat at a screen editing, its all worth it. Knowing that what I capture and create will bring smiles (or tears) to the faces of my couples and their loved ones for years, decades or maybe even centuries to come - that makes it all worth it.
