Thats the recap for the last 3months on the page!! Its been super intense!!! With that being said...im taking a break. My mental health has not been great since Christmas time and I'm gonna take a couple of weeks to reset. I'm all good and will be back soon.

I’ve been struggling to write this because it’s difficult to admit, but I need to be honest. Running a small business is incredibly hard, and I’m finding it more and more difficult to keep going. After just over a year, I’m still unable to take a wage from the business. Instead, I’m constantly struggling to cover costs, and with the rising prices of equipment and stock, I don’t know how much longer I can keep things running.I know that small businesses like mine can’t always compete with big online retailers or corporate chains when it comes to price. Larger companies have a much bigger customer base and the ability to buy in bulk, which allows them to keep their costs down in ways that local businesses simply can’t. But independent businesses offer something different something personal. We are the ones who keep our town centres alive, who provide services that online stores can’t, and who truly appreciate every single customer that walks through the door.I’m so grateful for everyone who has supported me so far, and I don’t take a single customer for granted. Every time someone chooses to shop locally, whether it’s at my business or another independent shop in town, it genuinely makes a difference.So, if you can, please consider supporting your local businesses whenever possible. It’s not just about keeping one shop open it’s about keeping our town thriving and ensuring that small businesses can continue to be part of the community.Thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way.
