The Philippine Tarsier - One of the smallest primates in the world.

• This tiny nocturnal creature, measuring only 4-5 inches in size, can be found in South Eastern islands of the Philippines such as Bohol, Leyte, Samar and parts of Mindanao.

• Their eyes are larger than their brains and cannot rotate in their sockets. To compensate, they can rotate their heads a full 180 degrees, much like an owl.

• They are the only primates that are 100% carnivorous, feeding primarily on insects, lizards, and small snakes.

• They are incredible jumpers, capable of leaping up to 10 feet between branches.
