We walk through hours as if they're leased,
a boundless feast that never ceased.

Yet time is as fragile as a cracked glass, and slip it must from our fingers into our past.

For someone, somewhere, dusk has come, sunsets left, none, their guardian angel has come to bring them home.

Their final song is softly strummed, no breath remains to greet the dawn.

Their footprint fades, their time come but their love will be remembered long after they have gone.

So hold the present, fierce and deep, appreciate every day, you never know when it could be your last.

Breathe in the air, adore the grace, admire the little things and treasure every fleeting place.

Each second is a gift, a fragile spark, a sudden warmth against the dark.

So thank the Lord before you sleep, each day is a present, count the blessings that you have and be thankful for those who make your moments memorable.

Let go of worry, fear, and doubt, and rest your weary soul, for morning brings a brand new light.

Have you been to Newgrange?

Did you realise there are approximately 1,200 to 1,600 recorded megalithic tombs remaining across Ireland? I spent years travelling to these magical places and took 1000s of photos of them along the way.

Here is one I edited today, removed crowds of people etc to leave it picture perfect.

Secret places should be kept secret.? Do you agree.?? The Mournes are for everyone to enjoy but sadly lots of our beautiful places are being totally destroyed.. Lots of our local spots are being ruined by social media influencers telling everyone where they are, next thing these beautiful places are destroyed by outsiders coming and leaving unmentionable amounts of rubbish, broken bottles, BBQs and burning fires etc.

So this place I'm keeping to myself so when I go its not packed and covered with litter, a place I can actually enjoy. If you know where it is please don't write it in the comments.
