A short clip from RNLI Teignmouth’s lifeboat docking 🚤

This was the first time I’ve filmed them since the arrival of their new vessel Claude and Kath, following the retirement of Two Annes after 18 years of dedicated service in 2024.

Always a privilege to capture and support the incredible crews who give their time to keep our coastline safe, whatever the conditions.

During Volunteers’ Week, it felt fitting to recognise not only those on land, but also the lifeboat volunteers who are ready to respond at a moment’s notice.

As Volunteers' Week comes to a close, I wanted to recognise one of the causes I volunteer my time towards throughout the year.

When a beloved pet goes missing, it can be an incredibly stressful and emotional time for owners. As a volunteer, I help support searches both on the ground with my search dog who is in training and from the air using drones where conditions and regulations allow.

Not every search has a happy ending, and not every search results in a sighting, but every hour volunteered is another opportunity to help reunite a family with their pet or provide answers when they're needed most.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers across the country who give up their time to help others, whether that's searching for missing animals, supporting charities, emergency services, community groups, or countless other good causes.

A few creative edits from Sunday at the Wildlife Autosport Wiscombe Hill Climb at Wiscombe Park 📸🏁

I've been experimenting with a new style recently to try and bring something a little different to my images, showing motion and energy in a different way. Definitely something different from my usual panning and action shots from the hill!

I’ll be uploading more of my usual photography styles from the event to my website and socials over the next few days, including both colour and some black & white versions for you all to look through.

If you competed on Sunday afternoon, feel free to reach out if you'd like me to try creating something similar from the images I took at either Sawbench or the section between Bunny's Leap and The Gate.

Is this too different from the usual motorsport photography style, or do you like seeing the occasional artistic flare?

First visit to the Hill this season and it was rather wet!! Thankfully although drones are best for the dry and calm days, I’m well prepared for the rain when it comes to my days shooting from the ground!

I’ll upload some photos over the course of the next week, I might even try something a little different with the edits.

🦺 World Safety and Health at Work Day

This is only some of the equipment we carry and use during drone operations.

While many people only see the drone take off, there is a lot more happening behind the scenes:

✅ Regular equipment checks
✅ Risk assessments
✅ Flight planning
✅ Weather and wind checks
✅ Airspace awareness and coordination with other users
✅ First aid kit carried on site
✅ Fire blanket available
✅ Hi-vis clothing when required

On top of the equipment you can see here, we are also trained and have had frequent refreshers for CPR and AED use!

Professional drone work is about more than just great footage, it’s about operating safely and responsibly every time!

🌍 Happy Earth Day 🌿

Today is a reminder of just how incredible our planet really is. From rolling countrysides and dramatic coastlines to the wildlife and landscapes right here in Devon, there is so much beauty worth protecting.

One of the best parts of drone photography is seeing the world from a different perspective and appreciating just how connected nature, communities and open spaces truly are.

Let’s all do our bit today and every day to support local green spaces, reduce waste, respect wildlife, and help keep our skies and landscapes beautiful for future generations.
