I have always had an interest in Railways ever since I spend many hours of childhood on Newton Abbot railway station
I purchased my first digital camera in 2003 and started taking photos of trains on my travels, eventually owning several DSLR cameras. As my photos expanded, I developed an

interest in passenger coaching stock, which then progressed onto freight wagons. I now have a large collection of coaches and wagons too
In recent years I have branched out into thing photos of nature and wildlife to add to my portfolio

6024 "King Edward I" makes the first run for the The Railway Touring Company, working "The Devonian" from Birmingham International to Plymouth, due the the failure of 70000 "Britannia." Due to very warm and dry weather, the King caused 3 lineside fires between Bristol and Taunton so Network Rail requested that 57601 shadowing the train be put on the front to reduce the workload of the King.
The return working with 57601 piloting 6024 crosses Cockwood Harbour on the:
1Z55 16:10 Plymouth to Birmingham International
