Darlington Camera Club Darlington Camera Club was established in 1936 with the aim of promoting photography in its widest s Competitions
We run competitions within the club meetings.

Club Meetings
Darlington Camera Club meets at 7.00 pm every Monday evening between September and July (During Term Times), During the summer we meet weekly to get out and about taking images. Our meeting venue is: Powerplay Snooker Pool 109 Eldon St, Darlington DL3 0NP. Telephone 07900 583131 (Chairperson)

Programme & Syllabus
Our weekly meeting programme and syllabus is designed to cater for all

experience levels and interests, both Film and Digital. Membership enquiries should be directed to the club secretary or chairman, whose details can be found on the Club Officers page. Subscriptions & Visitor Fees
Due at the beginning of the season (Sept)
Payment of the club subscription gives entitlement to enter all club competitions. Adult Members £25, £2 Per Night to Cover administration and Meeting Venue Fees
Visitors £4 per night (up to 4 visits when normal subs then become due.) This fee is to cover the cost of weekly meetings & expenses. Please note: It is respectfully pointed out that smoking is not permitted in club meetings. [email protected]

The first Meeting of the Camera Club Autumn season will be held on Thursday September 4th from 7-9pm in the Function room at Oakleaf Sports and Leisure centre, Newton Aycliffe DL5 6QZ
The full meeting schedule is as follows:

Thursday, September 18th, 7-9pm
Thursday, October 2nd, 7-9pm
Thursday, October 16th, 7-9pm
Thursday, November 6th, 7-9pm
Thursday, November 20th, 7-9pm

We look forward to meeting new and current members on Thursday. Club fees are £35 for the season, payable on September 4th and includes club membership and subs.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

New venue, new meeting day and new frequency!

Our club meetings will re-commence on Thursday 12 September at our new venue . Meetings will be held on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from 7pm - 9pm in the function room at the Oakleaf Sports complex, School Aycliffe Lane, Newton Aycliffe DL5 6QF.

The complex has a bar and restaurant that serves hot and cold drinks, meals and snacks which are available to purchase. Why not pop in for a bar meal or snack before the meeting. Drinks can be taken into the function room but not food.

Fees are payable in advance for the season and are due on 12 September 2024. Fees are £35 for the September to December season which covers membership fee and meeting fees and will be reviewed on a season by season basis.
