Beautiful Isle - showcasing our wonderful island. Beautiful Bears - Handpainted gifts. Everyone who is passionate about photography knows that it is a way of life rather than a way to make a living. Photography has encompassed my life ever since that moment at 14 when choosing my o’level options; I decided photography sounded an easier option than chemistry. Since that moment it is all I ever want

ed to do and I’m sure, ever will want to do. I photographed my first wedding at the age of 17 and have photographed a varied and eclectic range of things since then, from model portfolios to hotel brochures and local rock bands to children and pets. The Isle of Wight provides a rich and diverse environment in which to take photographs. I love to photograph the natural beauty of the landscapes and seascapes, but mostly I love to photograph the abandoned and often forgotten places that have been left to their fate by man and nature. I enjoy photographing people and events, weddings, dogs and children and I’m friendly, happy, capable and sociable.

Well it's been a long time since i've gone out with my beloved camera and taken photos of cool abandoned stuff. I'm not usually so keen on the insides of derelict places but this place at Blackgang is great! Wanted to document it before it falls into the sea or is demolished, which I think might shortly be on the cards.

It's always exciting if somewhat sad to come across a derelict site I never knew existed. I bet this was a beautiful place in its day. Sat right on top of the cliff at Sandown. What's the betting it'll be turned into flats!!!
