Have a look at the next generation of Kellingley Welfare superstars ⭐️

These awesome little guys and girls were locked in when it came to their tots session with Kyle Fish and Baden Binsley on Saturday morning ⚽️

Showcasing their dribbling, passing, shooting and running around having fun 🤩

These tots sessions will help teach the kids some vital social skills that they won’t understand until they’re older 🫶

Yesterday was all about U14s Altofts Juniors girls 🔴⚫️

Finishing the season unbeaten and crowned champions 🏆

Morley put in a shift throughout the match but once Altofts got that first goal, they stepped up a couple of gears and finished the game 5-0 👏

🏟️ U13s Normanton Knights 🆚 Bentley ARLFC in the Wakefield Cup
📍 The Graveyard

Bentley ARLFC came to the graveyard well prepared and ready to showcase their skills and determination, upsetting the Knights with the first try of the game 🏉

The young Knights realised they were going to have to wake up and put in the graft if they wanted to progress to the next round ⚔️

And the lads did just that, putting in some fearless tackles, confident runs and scoring some brilliant tries 😮‍💨

The knights took the win with a 30 - 8 score line but credit to both teams for putting on a show 👏

I took a trip to Mirfield yesterday to photograph Lower Hopton FC vs Great Preston, finishing 3-3 ⚽️🥅

Lower Hopton FC’s number 16 was playing in his retirement game, scoring twice. He could’ve took an easy ride for his last game but instead chose to have a proper centre forward’s battle with defenders, thoroughly enjoying himself handing banter out and letting them know they had a battle on their hands ⚔️

The weather forecast was light showers, but there was nothing light about the downpour ☔️

A huge day for Normanton Knights as their U12s Girls rugby team took to the field for their very first official match against Featherstone Lions Girls 🏉

This wasn’t just about the scoreboard — it was about courage, commitment, and stepping onto the pitch as a team for the very first time. From strong carries to brave tackles and relentless support play, the girls showed exactly what it means to wear the Knights badge 🛡️

At Normanton Knights, rugby league is more than a sport. It’s where young people learn respect, discipline, and resilience. It’s where standards are set, confidence is built, and lifelong skills begin to take shape. Most importantly, it’s where teamwork becomes second nature — backing each other every step of the way 💪

Every single player represented the club with pride yesterday! They showed the kind of mentality that will carry them far both on and off the field 👏

⚽️ Final score: 1-1

Both teams were evenly matched and the game could’ve gone either way. Altofts goalkeeper keeping his side in the game saving a penalty early on in the first half before Carlton eventually took the lead 🧤

The second half brought drama after a red card for Carlton which caused a scene between the player and Altofts coaching staff 🎭

Altofts could’ve nicked the win but missed an open goal but the lads showed spirit and hard work until the final whistle 👏

A tough game for the Normy Knights U15s girls on Saturday. The girls battled non-stop, showing their determination and nothing less than 100% graft 💪

Every tackle was strong and every run was fearless 👏💥

Unfortunately, the girls didn’t get the win but the spirit, resilience, and fight shown by this team is something to be proud of 🔴⚫⚪
