RL Creative Studios has been in business officially, for one year as of today, 1st September 2024. ⁠
⁠There's been a lot of great stuff that's happened in the past year, but I think one of the biggest things I can take away from it: if I can give a client incredible results with the Marketing work I have been doing for them, that will increase their confidence in themselves, which will become a r

ipple effect across every interaction. It's a demonstration their target audience likes them, and will buy their products/services at events they attend. Their audience will seek them out at events advertised only on their social media, and will talk about them with their family and friends. ⁠

Being able to do this for businesses and watch them slowly begin to shine, when they were really beginning to doubt themselves and their business idea...there's not many things that will give such a heartwarming feeling like that. ⁠And knowing I did this for clients this past year, it makes me smile in slight disbelief that I have done that, considering I have no university degree and only the bare minimum Marketing qualification under my belt. ⁠

I've made myself be in rooms where AI is discussed in Social Media Marketing perspective, and here's what your business may be missing. ⤵️

Social media platforms are driven by an AI-powered algorithm, which means this AI is the one who controls what you see in your feed, and whether your content gets shown to new people.

Are you keeping up with trends? And no, I'm not talking about making culture-relevant content in line with the Devil Wear's Prada 2, but including video in your Marketing and Content Strategy.

AI is powered on data and numbers so if your content that should be easy to remember doesn't fit into its neat little box (life isn't like that anyway, it's a rainbow 😅), your content won't be promoted in it's 'suggested for you' section.

New website design gone live today!

With all of my clients, I tell them you need to talk about who you are, what you do, what makes you different to your competitors which is why your customers should buy from you instead of them. One of the ingredients to do this is to include your reviews from customers, and examples of your work with data as evidence of your impact.

As my website has undergone a redesign the past three months, it’s giving me the opportunity to reflect, and dig up examples of my work that demonstrate what I can actually do.

After seeing these figures it hit me: why have I never spoken about this before? Why have I never shared how I got a client to 50,000 views in one month on Facebook (increase of 471%)?

And it’s because I forgot the significance of this, and also how important figures are to provide context for people.

So this is your reminder, go and find your customer testimonials, data evidence from your clients which shows the difference you’ve made, and integrate them into your marketing.

Your future customers will thank you for having this information easily accessible for them.

Test out my new microphone with me! Does the feeling of getting new business equipment ever get old? 🤣

Learnt my lesson that for equipment which is vital for being able to offer my Content Creation services for clients, don’t go on the cheap side for it, thinking you're getting a great deal. You're probably not, and it will break very soon because that's why it is priced like that. 🫠

The Lavalier Microphone didn't even lasted a year…but that’s what lessons are for! Plus it gives me the opportunity to make funny videos like this, to just have a play around.

If you buy from TikTok Shop, I hope your product works better in the long run than mine! It does prove the serious influence that UGC (user generated content) has nowadays though.

I just wanted to share this review I've just left on my website designer's Facebook profile.

Emotion. Make the audience feel something. That is what every marketer aims to achieve with their work, regardless of the platform used.

And Nick from Vivid Space Web Design is very open about not being a marketer, but he is a damn good website designer. He's made me feel intriguing emotions I really didn't expect to feel, because his work is just that good.

I am the BIGGEST believer that everything happens for a reason, especially if one can't see why at the time. Sometimes, it's moments like this that really demonstrate that, because who knows what this could lead to...

Whilst I've got your attention, for the past few weeks, I've spent about 23 hours rewriting every single thing on my website. And I have been doing this in what I call '6am Sessions' which is two hours of work, before I start work again at around 9am.

You know how life just moves so quick sometimes? This is one of those times for me.

People often ask me “how’s business going?” and I give the same answer I always do: “it’s good thank you.” Right from the beginning, I made a decision to always be positive when giving a response to that question. And business has always been good, given that I was building and started with two clients straight away.

But since January, things have changed for RL Creative Studios.

I’ve worked in new industries which has really challenged and stretched me at times. I’ve had some amazing organic results for new clients, so they’ve been really happy.

I’ve outsourced work for the first time, which came with so many emotions: excitement, worry, nerves, hopeful.

And I’ve learnt new things about my business services. For example, Social Media Management and Content Creation really do work amazingly well together!

So this is me just coming on here to say even though I don’t post as often as I’d like, RL Creative Studios is doing well, we’re growing in numerous ways, and things are tickety-boo as my Mum says! 😏

Struggling to understand how to increase your brand awareness online? This is what I hear all the time from my new clients:

• They struggle to be consistent with posting content online
• They don't know where to start with it, because there's so many things to think about
• They want guidance and how to make all of this less stressful, but they don't know where to go

If all of this sounds like you, here's some tips to get you started in the right direction:
1. You don't have a post idea, so where do you start? Think about the pain points of your customers, and address them and their problem like they were sat in front of you.

2. You have the usual social media platforms, but not sure where to post it?
Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Threads...It can all feel like a maze of confusing information. But if you know your customers well, this post will help you figure out where you should be posting.

3. What content to even post? All social media platforms still accept the various forms of content, but some perform better than others. It also depends with what you're trying to achieve with the content piece.
📹 Reels are videos which are being prioritised across all social media platforms, because they're more interactive.

📸 Carousels are multiple slide photos, which work well for providing lots of information on something.

🤳🏼On Facebook, if you need to do a quick post with information for your customers like opening times, try and add a photo to this. The post will inevitably do much better with the image than without it.

Your social media account for your business - is it a professional profile, or a personal one?

If it is a personal profile, you need to change this to a professional profile in your settings. Easy to do, completely free and takes less than 5mins.

For my first Client managing his social media, this is one of the first things I did.

✅ Suddenly, his presence online was elevated, because people took him more professionally.
✅ It was easy to find his contact details, so interested customers didn’t have to contact him just to find his email address
✅ He got access to the insights dashboard, so we could make better decisions informed by his data over what content users enjoyed the most, and what made them stop and view content for longer time periods
✅ Support tools, with information on best practices and inspiration for content
✅ Monthly recap so it’s easy to see the content that did really well and how

❗️If you're posting AI content without telling your audience, you're not a creator. You're a catfisher.

When you post AI-generated content and pretend it's something you made, you're deliberately misleading people. You're asking them to trust something that isn't true. And that's exactly what catfishing is. It's presenting a false version of yourself.

Real creators are transparent. They use tools, including AI, and they're honest about it. It's about being truthful about your process.

Your audience can feel the difference. They can sense when someone's trying to manipulate them. And once they feel that way, they leave.

❗️Label your AI use. Explain your process. Show your audience they can trust you. Because that's what separates the people building real communities from the people playing dress-up.
