Mixing futuristic and traditional art aesthetics to challenge perception. The English artist Jack Savage creates photographic conceptual art from his studio in Northampton England. Here he produces a unique brand of artworks using the varying mediums of studio portraiture, landscapes, street photography, mixed media photographic art, and digital psychedelic creations from what he labels "His Uncon

scious Soul". Savage's multi-faceted works have gained international recognition and acclaim - resulting in several prestigious international prizes, including most notably The Pangea Prize from Siena Photo Awards, Gold from the Shatto Gallery - Los Angeles, Photographer of the Year from The Spider Awards - Beverly Hills California and Gold from Tokyo Foto Awards. Over the last few years, he has exhibited his artworks internationally, in countries such as Italy, France, Greece, Hungary, Germany, USA and throughout the UK. Jack is currently represented by The Zari Gallery, London, UK, The Blackline Gallery, San Francisco, USA, and ThePassePartout Gallery, Milan, Italy.

Honoured to be featured in the current issue of FRAMES Magazine Issue 23, with an interview discussing photography, process, galleries, community - and the stories behind the work.

FRAMES continues to be one of the finest printed photography publications around — beautifully produced with exceptional print quality, rich tones, and heavyweight paper that gives the images a real physical presence on the page.

A strange thing about portraiture is that it’s never really about faces. It’s about atmosphere. Tension. Memory. The version of ourselves that appears for half a second when the mask slips.

Inspired by classical painting, cinema, symbolism, and the quiet drama hidden inside ordinary people.

Award-winning fine art photographer recognised internationally, including the Pangea Prize at the Siena Awards, Photographer of the Year at the Spider Awards, and 1st Prize in Fine Art at the Monochrome Awards, with over 100 photography awards worldwide.
