If improving your venue sales process is on the autumn to-do list, now is a really good time to think about a virtual tour.

Summer is starting to wind down, the diary might not be quite so full of back-to-back weddings, and there are still plenty of decent, dry days to capture your venue looking its best.

It’s also often the point in the year when teams finally get a bit of breathing space to look at the things they’ve been meaning to improve.

- How are you handling showrounds?

- How much time is your team spending showing the same spaces again and again?

- Could couples arrive already understanding the layout, the flow and what’s possible?

A virtual tour isn’t there to replace the showround.

It can make the showround better.

Couples can explore before they visit, show family members who can’t attend, revisit the venue afterwards and arrive with much better questions.

For your team, that can mean less repetition and more useful conversations with couples who are already further along in their decision.

That’s why September and early autumn can be such a good time to get your venue scanned.

We’re currently offering a fully hosted wedding venue virtual tour for £995 + VAT.

How many hours does your team spend on showrounds that never become bookings?

I used to be an independent wedding planner, taking couples on up to four venue showrounds in a single day.

It was always a lovely day out, but the reality was that three of those four venues would often receive a polite “thanks, but no thanks” message soon afterwards.

Had those venues offered a virtual tour beforehand, we could probably have narrowed the shortlist down to just one in-person visit.

That would have saved the couple time, travel and decision fatigue, while saving the venue teams from spending hours showing around couples who had already decided the space wasn’t quite right for them.

A virtual tour doesn’t replace the in-person showround.

It helps couples explore your venue properly before they visit, so the people walking through your doors are more likely to already know they love the space.

That means fewer unsuitable appointments, better-qualified enquiries and more valuable conversations with the couples who do visit.

As a former wedding planner, I’ve seen this process from the couple’s side.

Now, I create immersive virtual tours that help wedding venues make every showround count.

Another exciting project today!

Today we’ve been capturing a brand new 360° virtual tour for which if you didn’t know is right opposite The Derngate in Northampton Town Centre.

One thing that’s so important with co-working spaces is atmosphere and that’s incredibly difficult to communicate through photos alone.

A virtual walkthrough allows potential members to properly explore the space, understand the layout and get a feel for the environment before they even visit.

More coming soon. Follow for the results.
