2025
I entered 2025, still chipping away at editing wedding galleries from 2024. I was editing during nap times and evenings as I don't do this gig full time. I had burnout and needed to take time to make sure I didn't fall out of love with photography when it had been something so life-giving to me.

So I didn't push anything. No marketing, barely any social media presence just (happily) accepting enquiries that came my way. 2025 was also the year I had decided I really needed to do some more things for me.
With 2 young children, I had been at the bottom of my priority list for a good chunk of time, and it was showing.

So here are just a few takeaways from this year for me, and I'd encourage you to do it for yourself, too. I'm not into New years resolutions, but I have listed some intentions for the year the last 2 NYE, and it has helped shape my direction.

Oh HEY!

It's been a while! But I'm getting things back up and running! Wahoo!!

I've got some posting to catch up with on here from shoots I've been doing whilst being quiet, and I can't wait for you to see them!

Summer is busy with my gorgeous children, but if you're looking for a session from Sept onwards, then drop me a message! I'd LOVE to work with you!

Jen Anderson Photography is returning for another year of Mother's Day Mini Sessions with gorgeous floral displays from Fox and Bloom Floral Artistry!

Imagine a beautifully renovated country barn filled with natural light, gorgeous stone floors and brick walls surrounded by fields and nature. That is where we're fortunate enough to be holding these sessions!

These Mother's Day Mini Sessions are to mark and appreciate this season of motherhood; whether that's expectant mothers, mothers to 1 or many, or mothers to adults! This is a chance to capture some beautiful moments of connection and relationship to cherish for years to come.

Slots are 30 mins, include 5 digital images (options to upgrade) and cost £75

The sessions are happening on Sat 26th April. A gift voucher is available to gift on Mother's Day itself 🌷.

The first wedding shot on the grid!
Sometimes, when looking through images from a session, there are shots that I'm obsessed with for no obvious reason. Some you know you love straight away because someone's laughing or something. But with others, like this one, it isn't always obvious at first. But what I love is the action and buzz behind the bride, partnered with a sense of calm of the bride. Becca was so chilled and relaxed the whole day, and it flooded over into the feel of every detail.
