On the odd occasion, we do like to get stuck in to a bit of research! It's important to appreciate how essential sound is to high quality production. For a long time we were using the Rode Video Mic Pro+ shotgun mic that is brilliant for a whole variety of scenarios.

However, when it came to interviews, depending on the environment we were in, it just wasn't cutting it. It was picking up too much echo, too much background noise. So, we've purchased a lapel mic - the audio-technica Pro 70 and so far it's been exceptional. We highly recommend!

It may not seem like a big difference but that's often how you improve your overall level of quality - lots of small tweaks and upgrades that come together.

As the British Cycling National Track Cycling Championships took place in Manchester last weekend, we thought we'd throw it back to a year ago when Josh Edwards attended to film this great video!🚲

We filmed the event with Pete Mitchell and his Black Line team! It was a long day of filming but it was worth it to capture all of the epic shots to convey the sense of competition, the tension and the excitement surrounding the event!

After a busy couple of weeks with YourLiveWire due to our full filming schedule, it's great to now be fully stuck into the editing process!

It's so exciting to see the storyboard we originally planned out finally coming together from the great shots and footage we've captured for the project!
