Washington DC this morning.

Travel and jet lag allow you to take advantage of different routines in new environments (and to see with ‘fresh eyes’).

It’s my second visit, but my first with some free time. So I set out first thing with my camera to catch the morning calm.

Politics, power and history combined with snow, quiet and space… That was the brief I set myself - all before 1030 - and this was the result.

This was a family shoot, and each member had a portrait thrown in for fun. I love the Autumn colours coming through on the Mundesley beach cliffs. Grain effect added post shoot.

With Rosie and Josh, it was all about capturing the moment - their natural connection translated beautifully into these photos. It was my privilege to spend time with them and be their photographer.
