The most unforgettable journey of discovery and of a lifetime.
We booked this to mark a special celebration - my 70th year as well as something totally different.
The excitement and expectation ignited by Graham our desire to photograph the wild - animals, architecture country and people, visiting a country never been to before.

I can honestly say Graham and team delivered consistently with a true passion on every count; as well as being the expert photographer he is, was such a tremendous bonus to learn and hear all his experiences, and encouraged to create something special.
Deepti’s knowledge intermingled with Grahams flair provided everything you wanted.
Especially as I use a Nikon, it was wonderful knowing Graham could help, as and when needed.

It was an utterly unique experience & journey of discovery, I do not believe you will find an experience anywhere else that produces as comparable journey as ours.
We made it ours, shared and gelled together as a group, supported along the way by Graham, and directed by Deepti perfectly - so much fun and laughter- an extremely personal experience.
Every detail of our day catered for, food, personal hygiene, photography, internet, taking images, downloading images, what to wear, cost of things, so many things, times meals just everything you needed.

Not only did we discover the animals of the stunning national parks - Bandhavgarh and Jhalana, but also everything else about India 🇮🇳 - food, culture, history, local people - also to feel a part of a special party, meeting Grahams family in Agra, eating together, the laughter and joy of sharing this journey together.
The Jeep teams were just tremendous, so much fun and enjoyment, gleaning their special local knowledge, actually meeting local people awesome.
All this provided a very moving and personal touch to every single day.

Onward via the train to Agra, and seeing Agra Fort & Taj Mahal, going afterwards to Jaipur, for Jhalana’s stunning Leopards.
Magical hotel Alisair Jaipur, step back in time, once home to Maharajas, absolutely loved it, and would loved to see more of majestic Rahjastan, a fantastic excuse to return.
One could wax lyrical forever, not enough superlatives to say, except, if you were thinking about doing it, just go for it, you would never regret it.
Quite simply the best wildlife Safari and tour journey.

In terms of organisation of the ‘Out of town Images’ website - can I suggest an itinerary, day by day be provided on the website, just useful, interesting and helpful to be informed ahead of time what will happen each day - I say this just as an observation.

What a trip! Absolutely fantastic.

Graham Tweed is so good at encouraging you to not only experience the wildlife in Bandhavgarh and Jhalana but also the cultures surrounding those areas as well as visiting the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort of Agra. We visited Preeti Verma's Handicrafts & Textile shop in Agra, where we were so welcomed and had a lovely time there and went out to lunch with the family as well as visiting the marble shop next door. Our dinner with the family at night was so special and we were made to feel at home, again how honoured were we? In Jaipur there is so much to see but we only went to the Jantar Mantar which was fascinating though a tad hot - our journey to get there down the back streets showed us life as it is. We went to a bazaar which was fun and thoroughly enjoyable and we tried Kulfi - thoroughly recommend.

As to all the tigers and leopards we saw, just incredible and to see the wild elephants bathing, wow! What a photographic experience. To see a kill and a tiger family eating their kill, how lucky were we? On top of that there is the plethora of animals to watch and photograph, too many to mention. Each safari just outdid the other the whole way through.

Our accommodation at Bandhavgarh and the food and staff, just perfect. The hotel in Agra was lovely and very pleasant, however the Alsisar Haveli was so beautiful and an oasis of calm from the noise outside. Graham and Deepti were so good at encouraging us to try traditional indian food and making it so easy for us to do so.

I should mention the train from Katni to Agra, that was such fun - yes maybe the loos are not the best but that can be the same the world round. We managed to sleep, see the countryside and enjoy each other's company and a tremendous amount of laughter!

We were looked after so well by Graham and Deepti, can't thank them enough. What an experience and frankly I doubt anyone could do it better to show us the Colours of India and what it has to offer.

Its a secret part of the world where time stood still filled with adventure and wildlife and I have decided to show you. 16th - 23rd April 2027 you can join me in just a group of six to film wild Hippopotamus, Chimpanzee, Nile Crocodile, Red Velvet Monkeys and a huge volume of culture in the Gambia, Africa's jewel on the west coast. We will start being pampered for a night in banjul before heading 5 hours up into the remote wilderness to our basic lodge where time has never reached. From here we will take 3-5 hour boat trips daily to see the wildlife and birds that exist here. We will then spend the last two days back in Banjul where you will have the pools, beach and a little more luxury plus dinner for two nights in Gambia's finest restaurants. The only route to the Gambia is London Gatwick to Banjul via Tui so to reserve seats we would need a deposit of £700 on booking. The trip cost which covers everything is £2400 per person and the trip is limited to just six people so would fill fast. Drifting down the river we came across a family of Giant Otters and realised that after leaving the den for a little fishing and recreation the river bank had collapsed. The noise from the young is quite haunting as they wait terrified in the water alone for the parents to take them manually up the side of the mud bank to the den. It's a very dangerous part of the world to be left alone or to lose your awareness for nothing more than a split second. People ask by what i mean by having to use photographs straight from the camera. In terms of Nikon developing software of course an edited photograph is on no use so they take and I guess the pressure is that the Raw File is close to perfect as possible. Here is an example of Straight from the Camera giving you the settings etc. Its a challenge but a fun one and we are now building towards the project in India in May this year. To be able to simply sit on the river in a remote part of the world and live amongst some of the rarest animals, birds and fish on the planet is a privilege not many get a chance to do. I am lucky. Very very lucky and I know plus appreciate that. Here I was just playing with the available light tooled up by the masters at Nikon to be able to deliver the clarity and make you feel you are there. You of course can be. Now taking interest for 2027 with an incredible trip to India in May/June and Brazil in October. Special trips of a lifetime putting you closer to these incredible wildernesses and all that live within them. Never leave it too late.
