Busy weekend to end the month on. September has always felt more like the beginning of a new year to me than January does.
Maybe it’s the feeling of a new term, the imminent change of season (do we even have seasons anymore though?!) Or the school year rhythm that never quite left me or one that clicked back into place when I went to university as a mature student.
Either way I really do think I run my life September to September. This year, I’m looking forward to returning to study, getting back into research and seeing where it leads. Fully expecting to be spending plenty of study hours over the next 2 years on this beaut 1970s Englander sofa which will definitely be making its way into some imagery at some point.
