The behind a picture... Last year I started a and forgot about it, all that was done was the hair and face shape. This year I'm trying to finish off any unfinished work or blank pages in my current sketchbook so I restarted this one. Unfortunately I have lost the original reference image. So! Off to Pinterest to download ideas to complete it, photographs of people with a similar face shape, colour combinations and shapes. Scroll for progress shots and collage. Last official due . Art will still be available but I am unable to reliably finish work to a reasonable deadline. As negative as this sounds, it's actually a positive move for me, I do love drawing your beautiful faces but my hands simply won't let me do art as often as I want, that doesn't mean new art won't pop up, but it will be created as and when I'm capable. And this particular piece was a delightful way to finish, nothing better to draw than happy faces. 😊

Finally got around to posting the of and her small person. I absolutely adore this picture so much, a big part of me wanted to keep it, there's just so much in it. My kiddo has been incredibly clingy today but in a manner where she doesn't talk about it, she just sort of slowly becomes *on* me. Which has set me on edge more than a little. Then cue bedtime where I gave her big cuddles, held hands and chatted about worries, and then she fell asleep... Only to become wide awake and panicking again, with any slightest movement I made in the direction of the door. After probably the fifth occurrence, the VERY appreciated took over and chatted to her for AGES. I'm sad for feeling claustrophobic when my baby needed reassurance, so I drew this to calm me down and to attempt to show my love when I physically couldn't. Tomorrow (after sleep and general peace) I'm going to suggest Luna and I spend all day watching movies, snuggled up in my duvet together. Xx

Also, this lockdown I have mostly been my house so that my furniture makes my rooms more efficient and less messy. For kicking, purposes. I also made a new so I can have one for and one for without getting squish on my fabric. Drawing can be done anywhere, dissection and sewing machine use, require actual stations to do so. Xx

How I'm getting on with some of my ... Apparently it is easier to give something up, even if it is highly , than to actively add something in to your day. Is that just an thing? Anyway, 2 out of 3 goals done! Yay! No longer reliant on ni****ne. 😊 Working on the water thing...
