I would say my being bad at social media is down to becoming a motherโ€ฆ but I was awful beforehand, Iโ€™m just worst now ๐Ÿ˜… anyhooโ€ฆ throwback to celebrating reaching my goal of breastfeeding for 6 months... now weโ€™re at 9 months and still going strong!

I took these photos just before Jax turned 6 months old to celebrate reaching my goal of breastfeeding for 6 months... I can't believe we've already surpassed 9 months and still going strong! It's the hardest but most rewarding thing I've ever committed to doing! ๐Ÿฅฐ

As much as Jax WAS NOT happy with taking photos with momma this day and oh my goodness it was so difficult to set up the lighting, focus the camera, hold Jax and trigger the flash with my remote, but it was 100% worth it. Iโ€™m so happy with the results, Iโ€™ll treasure these photos forever๐Ÿ’™

I absolutely love fine art portraits with the painterly aesthetic, especially in BW, it just makes photos look more timeless and sentimental, so thatโ€™s what I wanted to achieve / create here.

I made this BIG poppy earlier today, with nothing more than 19 sheets of tissue paper, a handful of paper clips and a hot glue gun. All it cost was ยฃ3.99 in tissue paper (I already had the hot glue gun) and 40 mins of my time, to make it. I must say I am thoroughly enjoying creating props (on a budget, too) for my self-portraits.
