Traversing thousands of feet up a mountain for a weekend explore, in the middle of winter with snow six feet high walling the streets and doorways of Virginia City, a preserved gold rush Wild West town in the Sierra Mountains of Nevada. We came across an emporium ran by this most hospitable and worldly travelled gentleman Firdous.

He offered us delicious fresh hot chai and some friendly conversion as we warmed ourselves by his fire and mused his worldy wares.

'Sticker Politics' - Back of a 'No Parking Zone' sign, Stout Street, Denver, Colorado, USA - August 2017.

After a long day of walking the city sights, at about 6pm I stopped in a pub for the day to review and have a beer.

Outside from the street-side seating I was on, the rear of a street sign catches my eye, and across the street a large building is wrapped up and being renovated. This sign it's plastered in artistic, political and logo stickers added by the general public.

Having taken about 30 flights in the last several months, I have spent a lot of time looking at this carpet design. It's something I'll not soon forget or care to see much of again.

Stone Stairway Trails, Yosemite National Park, California, USA - Decemeber 2016

Having explored the Yosemite on a snowy and bloody nippy day - one of my last stops was to the renowned Tunnel View Vista point that allows you to oversee the stretch of the valley from on-high.

However, hidden away off to one-side was this stone staircase that spiraled thousands of feet off to the peaks and the ridges above... Didn't fancy adventuring too far up them - as the sun was setting and these stairs were frozen solid!

Standing on the corner near Marks & Spencer watching the runners as they cheer and grimace before the final hill for the last few hundred meters of the race. The ancient castle stands proud offering the respite of shade for those who run beneath it on this sunny and warm English day.
