Rob Dodsworth Photography Norfolk Wedding Photographer - For those who live for the little moments! So, grab a cup of coffee, maybe some cake, then sit back, relax and check out my work.

Based in the fine city of Norwich, Rob Dodsworth Photography, specialise in stylish, elegant documentary wedding photography & creative portraiture to couples throughout Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, or, wherever your wedding may happen to take me! I’m passionate about photography because I get a real buzz capturing special moments that go into making your day – the first look between a bride

and her groom, the squeeze of a hand at the altar – those memories that you will want to treasure forever. What I love most about photography is that it allows me to capture the love, beauty and emotion of your day – moments in time that in your photographs will endure a lifetime. I hope that you'll like what I do and if so, then don't hesitate to get in touch-I’d love to hear more about your special day!

Tis the season for summer wedding guest outfits!

And honestly? People do not disappoint.

Every wedding I shoot is basically a free front row seat to some of the best dressing of the year - the floaty midi dresses, the bold colours, the person who absolutely committed to a hat and pulled it off completely.

If you’re heading to a wedding this summer and still figuring out what to wear, let these be your inspo.

Wedding photography tip nobody asked for:

The best photos of the day are almost never the ones you planned.

They’re the ones that happened in the ten seconds you weren’t looking.

Good job someone was!

The bit I love most about wedding photography isn’t the ceremony or the first dance.

It’s the twenty minutes in between everything else.

The quiet word with a parent.

The chaotic group of mates causing trouble by the bar.

The flower girl who’s absolutely done with the whole thing and just wants to go home.

Those moments. Every time.

I’m taking on fewer weddings this year.

Not because demand has dried up - quite the opposite. Everyone seems to be falling in love at the moment, which is genuinely lovely and also very good for business!

But I became self-employed so I could spend more time with the people who matter most to me.

Turns out that’s hard to do when you’re shooting every weekend from May to October.

So - fewer weddings, more intention. I still have a handful of slots left for this year, and if you’ve been thinking about getting in touch, now’s the time before they go!

Six months. One wedding. Totally doable.

People spend years planning weddings when really, you only need a handful of things to actually make it happen. The rest is details.

I’ve written a full guide on how to pull off a last-minute wedding without losing the plot - link in bio.

And if a photographer is still on your list - you know where I am!

Every wedding has one.

The guest who completely steals the show.

At Tom & Emily’s wedding it was this guy.

Unbothered.

Unstoppable 🤣.

Every now and then I finish editing a wedding and a handful of images just stop me in my tracks.

This is a few of them from Abby & Matt’s day at The Grove.

Confetti in the air, a tipi behind them, March doing its best impression of a decent day - and two people completely in their element surrounded by everyone they love.

If you’re looking at venues and The Grove is on your list, feel free to slide into my DMs - I’ve got thoughts. 👀

Golden hour magic with Abby & Matt

Proof that the best lighting of the entire day lasts approximately 7 minutes… and is always worth the mild panic to get there!

But honestly / look at them. The way they just settle into each other, completely in their own little world while the sun does its thing…

More of my favourite moments from their day coming your way… watch this space, plenty more to come!

Bank Holiday weekend incoming… what are your plans looking like? ☀️

Big garden BBQ? A wedding? Escaping somewhere with a sea breeze and zero emails? Whatever you’ve got on, I hope it’s a good one and you actually get a moment to switch off properly!

And if you are heading to a wedding this weekend (or you’re in the middle of planning one), here are a few tried-and-tested tips for surviving the warmer weather without melting into the dance floor:

🪭Handheld fans are genuinely lifesavers.
🥂Hydrate like it’s your full-time job (yes, even if your glass is mysteriously refilling itself).
👗Think linen, cotton, floaty everything - this is not the season for “structured anything”.
👠 Spare shoes are essential - sweaty feet and heels is a combination no one enjoys.
📸 And photographers? We’ll be the ones quietly relocating to the shade between shots like it’s a tactical operation.

Enjoy the long weekend, and make the most of the sunshine while it lasts!
