These two 🥺 where do I even start? They really are rewriting their own stars, aligned together perfectly. I don’t often get emotional at weddings, but I think Matt broke absolutely everybody when he saw his soulmate walking towards him down that aisle.
The most caring, considerate and thoughtful people I have met in a long time, with hearts of pure gold and love for not just each other, but everyone around them too.

Most people I know in the same industry as me, hate social media with a capital L O A T H E 😮‍💨
And that is because of that constant social pressure to always show up, always post, be inspirational with your content, get more followers, get more likes, grow grow grow grow - am I right?!

But I’ve trained myself now, after years of feeling that overwhelm, to cut out the noise and the pressure around me, telling me what I “should” be doing, and rather focus on what feels manageable.

Most of my couples who book me, will tell me that my personality shon through to them, and that’s what attracted them to my page, my website, and ultimately to enquire.
I won’t be everyone’s cup of tea (and that’s totally fine, because I’m not yours, you probably aren’t mine either and therefore we probably wouldn’t be a good match!). I’m never upset by that - if I was the only wedding photographer in the world then I definitely would be feeling that burn out (which I very much want to avoid).

You don’t have to hate social media.
You just need to figure out making it work within your capacity.
Be your own boss with it, and cut out what society is telling you is popular or relevant for success.
I’ve been plodding along at my own pace for a while now; and I’m doing just fine 🫶🏽
