I say it’s a size large but looks like womens Large and does have a tear on the shoulder.

With the lead-up to me spending 3 weeks in France next month, and possibly Italy and Switzerland in July, I decided to block out a couple of weeks off work to recharge. I’ve had a mad first quarter and still haven't quite recovered!!

So, I’ve a few Moka pots, some I’ve had for 30 years, some acquired recently. I decided to restore/clean a few, like this one, gifted to me by my dear friend - The Carmencita Moka Pot from 1979, designed by Marco Zanuso and manufactured for Lavazza by the coffee makers Balzan.

The actual design is still manufactured today via a partnership with Lavazza and Ilsa but this particular ‘Golden Arm’ edition has been long out of production.

Still need to dial in the espresso but have been pleased with the few pours I’ve done after resto/clean up. Last brew for today, decided to make myself an Affogato - a few phone images/vid.

To keep in line with my page, espresso cup used!!

Big thank you to Jim, I’m happy you let me be the next custodian of your late mother's beautiful Moka pot.

Well, my plan backfired, decided not to look at or edit any images from today once I got back from Prescott Hill Climb - so had a shower and settled to watch a few episodes of Landman!

I just couldn’t help myself. Flipped open my MacBook and loaded up a few files.

I just love this image. Thank god for the trees to provide many with some much needed shade but also gives photographers an opportunity.

The gap where the sun was blistering through was an ideal frame to capture the very very fast Bugatti! Reeled off 20 frames, and I chose this one: the car shot out of Pardon Hairpin at quite an unbelievable pace, and I’m really happy I captured the change of gear!

As usual I reframed the same image, just to give you a little more detail.

This weekend I'm heading to one of my favourite motorsport venues Prescott Hill Climb for the Prescott Historique.

I've had a look at the entry list and I’m looking forward to shooting all the awesome pre-war grand prix cars along with the MGs, Alpines, Austin Healeys, Elans, Alfas, Alfa’s and of course Porsches. All range from the early 1900s to the 1990s!

Best not to forget the sun cream!
