NSL - Senior Cup - Semi Final - 20/04/22 Highlights

Clifton All Whites/Clifton FC (5)v(3) Stapleford Town

An absolute war last night - at the norman archer memorial ground, both teams fighting tooth and nail to score the 1st goal which happened late into te 2nd half with a flurry of heads in the goal.... im not sure where the credit or blame is laid for that one.

the 2nd goal game in the closing moments where stapleford find a gap in play - the moment is siezed and stapleford bring us into extratime & penalty shootout. end result Clifton All Whites 1-1 Stapleford Town (4-2pens)

a great game and must watch battle well played to stapleford and a massive congratulations to Clifton All Whites who have secure a place in the final against AFC DUNKIRK.

THE GOALS: 1st is staplefords opener, 2nd and 3rd are both ruled off side and a penalty to equalise!

A fantastic day out today in the good weather!!! - not a cloud in the sky- PERFECT.... over 200people turned out to watch this one, fill up on a proper BBQ & have a few beers - And i picked up my 3rd badge - this one being from southwell fc.

was also nice to finally get to meet MR Rob Hornby, out with the family having a good time - filling his charity blog and drinking a few beers.

Thankyou to both teams for putting on a great day out and goodluck in your closing games this season

If you was to ask me - WHAT A WAR!!!

From my perspective both teams wanted this the hardest... Southwell came out with 2 early goals and dunkirk fought back to equalise in the 1st half and lead 3-2 in the 2nd half of the game.

southwell in the final minutes and there were a few extra minutes... wanted to get that equaliser but the kept being halted in the final 3rd every time.

A great game and a must watch battle... well fought southwell and a massive congratulations to dunkirk fc who now see them selves in the final

once again...
