Rachel and Ollie

Rachel and Ollie’s autumn celebration at the Willow Marsh Farm was such a joy to be part of!
Watching Ollie walk down the aisle with his mum, both of them smiling – honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever seen two happier people. And when Rachel appeared? The joy on their faces was everything. These two were radiating that ‚just got married’ look.
From the moment their dog Douglas trotted down the aisle with the rings, to the competitive conker fights that broke out between guests, this day had the most incredible atmosphere.
The venue looked absolutely stunning – the Willow Marsh Farm has added beautiful new paintings throughout, and paired with autumn theme and light, it was a perfect way to end my 2025 season.

Robin and Michael at Sandhole Oak Barn

Michael and Robin booked me over 2 years ago, mentioning they had friends and family overseas and wanted to plan well in advance so everyone could come and celebrate with them. And wow, did people show up - guests travelled from Australia and all over the world to be there.

They chose Sandhole Oak Barn, and honestly, what a stunning backdrop for their day - the rustic charm and relaxed atmosphere were absolutely perfect for this international celebration.
Robin made beaded bracelets with everyone’s initials and arranged all the décor and flowers himself - basically took on the mammoth task of organising his own wedding AND made it look like a breeze and good fun. Seriously impressive stuff.

I can’t even describe how it felt to be there - there was SO much joy and love, it felt overwhelmingly incredible. Robin’s warmth (he’s always smiling and cracking jokes!) and Michael with his killer style and heart of gold (caught him practicing his speech when I arrived and it absolutely melted me).
Love like theirs is so special, and I still have to pinch myself that I got to photograph this amazing day. I’m so grateful for the incredible humans I meet through my work 🥹

Louise & Guy at Marston Hall

From the very first email, I knew I was in incredible company with these two lovers! Travel enthusiasts and the kindest of souls - if you’re one of my past couples, you might remember my infamous ‘getting to know you’ questionnaire, and oh my, I absolutely loved reading L&G’s responses. The vibe of wanderlust and kindred spirits shone through their stories, and I instantly felt so lucky that it would be me capturing their wedding day.

And honestly... what a setting! Guy’s family home had me jaw-dropping around every corner - it was like being on the set of Saltburn, although thankfully much less dramatic! 😅
You know how much I love personal touches, and with Guy being a pilot, after dinner, all the guests gathered to send off handmade paper airplanes together. It was such a beautiful moment for everyone to enjoy and for me to photograph - pure joy captured in flight!
Wedding days go by so fast, and this one felt like it passed in a heartbeat. But that’s exactly why I’m here - to freeze these moments.

Emma and Alec

After sending Emma her sneak peeks, she posted a few photos on her Instagram saying she feels like the luckiest girl in the world. Call me soppy, but isn’t this the best feeling a girl can have after her wedding day is over? 🥰

From early morning, I knew I was with the fun crowd - sharing the latest TikTok posing techniques that had us all in stitches (and made for some brilliant candids!) through surprise Mariachi Band to just living in the moment, slowing down and enjoying every single minute with people who mean the most.

The wedding took place at Melbourne Parish Church - probably one of the most stunning churches I’ve ever photographed - followed by tipis at Whatton House, set in beautiful parkland. Full of character with pretty portrait spots everywhere, plus the most incredible hospitality.

The day was absolutely beautiful, and the rain held off for most of it, creating the perfect cosy atmosphere for portraits. I love my job and call myself lucky to witness Emma and Alec getting married - it was such an incredible day, so I’ll let the pictures do the talking…

Tami and Mark

When Mark told me they wanted their wedding to look absolutely fabulous, I instantly thought - hell yeah! - you’re getting married at one of the real gems of wedding venues.

Mark and Tami were so laid-back about their wedding - they just wanted to celebrate with their favourite people. They both share a passion for antiques and interiors (and obviously, a love of Langar Hall which fitted their vibe just perfectly). This eclectic venue is pure magic - quirky interiors, gorgeous gardens, and breathtaking countryside views.

With an outdoor ceremony and the loose theme of ‚wear a hat’ - and WOW, did people deliver! My two absolute favourites: a fez and a keffiyeh worn by the bride’s brother who came with the full outfit to match. During confetti time, paper money was thrown instead - totally expected when you’re that committed to character.

The whole day was just perfect - that intimate family and friends vibe where everyone wanted to hang out, chat, and simply celebrate. It was exactly what Mark and Tami envisioned, and I’m always happy when couples make their wedding day uniquely theirs. 👌

Top it off with Langar Hall’s outstanding hospitality and food - honestly, heaven on earth!

NEW BLOG - Ellie and Charlie ☔️

Right, let’s talk about the weather, as we’ve had our fair share of proper British weather lately.

If you’re getting married, that little weather app might be giving you nightmares. But here’s the thing - Ellie and Charlie’s wedding was absolutely SOAKED, and it was still one of the most fantastic days ever.

Turns out, embracing the beautiful chaos and just rolling with it can still turn out beautifully.

Still think I’m mad? Head over to my latest blog where I spill all the secrets on how to turn a washout into a winner. Spoiler alert: it involves brollies, good humour, and a photographer who’s not made of paper.

Because let’s be honest - if you can’t handle a bit of British weather on your wedding day, are you even really British?

Lauren and Si

Every photographer has their bucket list, and one of mine has always been: Peak District setting, a dog, and lovely humans getting married in gloriously relaxed style. Consider it ticked off.

The venue was absolute perfection - three barns, two courtyards, and that brilliant DIY vibe that screams ‘we’re outdoorsy.’
The ceremony was led by Lauren’s brother, with Maggie the dog making the most spectacular entrance, walking down the aisle. All decorations were lovingly handmade by friends - there’s nothing quite like a proper collective effort at weddings.

For portraits, we ventured through a kissing gate (kiss was mandatory, obv) into a field with some very curious cows. Well, that was a wedding photography first! Cars were beeping congratulations as they drove past, which was utterly lovely... until our four-legged photobombers decided they wanted to be Instagram famous too.
Thankfully, Si and my lovely second shooter Emma had some serious cow-whispering skills and diplomatically convinced them they weren’t quite ready for their close-up.

Pure relaxed joy all day long - people reconnecting, celebrating, and Lauren and Si literally not stopping smiling for a single moment. Left with the fullest heart (and entertaining cow stories for future dinner parties).

3 pictures in reverse- from the big wedding via civil ceremony, ending up with an engagement photo - it was incredible to witness these moments with Row and Jay.

I don’t often go on a full journey with my clients but when I do it makes it so special.

I might be a bit biased but take this as your sign to take more photos of your life. Memories fade but pictures will always be there to remind you of people, places and the way you felt.

Ellie and Charlie ☔️

Having just returned from my absolute SOGGIEST wedding ever, I can officially confirm it’s the couple who sets the tone, and Ellie and Charlie embraced every single second of that beast.

Was it challenging at times? Absolutely! I was drenched, genuinely worried about my equipment, and navigating group shots in sideways torrential rain. But everyone handled it all with the best humor and biggest smiles.

Ellie rocked a needle and thread dress with Dr. Martens, dripping in the most gorgeous chunky jewelry 🤩 I’m obsessed with brides who have a vision, throw tradition out the window, and still look spectacular while staying true to their style.
After the ceremony, the heavens opened even MORE (if that was possible), the couple and I dashed to the pub for emergency drinks. It was a double G&T kind of moment.

Back at the tipis, there was a waterfall between the bar and tipi area, abandoned umbrellas scattered everywhere, but so many funny moments and genuine laughter. Even the cake cutting went a bit different- the top tier sliding straight onto the floor. Seriously, I couldn’t have scripted it like this if I tried.

But here’s the thing - by embracing the beautiful mess and just rolling with it, we managed to capture everything perfectly. And then? The rain stopped around early evening, like it had done its job.

Watching a couple who genuinely embrace the chaos and don’t sweat the details reminded me that you can still have the most incredible time, and honestly? Love in a rain just hits differently.

Abigail and Adam

Abigail got ready at her parents’ house - a place covered in posters, vinyl records, colorful festival memorabilia, old passes, and pictures from Glastonbury Festival. I immediately knew I was in a house that knows how to throw a proper party!

The morning was beautifully relaxed and easy-going, but my absolute favorite moment was Abigail’s first look with her grandparents. Honestly, it made my eyes water - just seeing their pure joy watching their granddaughter in her white dress was absolutely priceless. These are the moments that count. 👌

At the church, the vicar delivered the most wonderfully lighthearted ceremony, complete with bubbles and a truly beautiful reading from the bride’s mum that had everyone reaching for tissues.

The celebration continued at Claypole Village Hall, which was decorated beautifully for a sit-down afternoon tea.
During a quick break, I stumbled across the bride and groom cake topper... with the groom’s head completely chopped off! It proper tickled me, and honestly, it’s such a perfect reminder that weddings rarely go exactly to plan - but sometimes that’s exactly what makes them memorable. Plus, having an experienced team of wedding vendors means everything always gets sorted in the end.

I absolutely loved spending time with Abigail and Adam during portraits - they’re both so incredibly lovely and kind, just pure joy to be around. And an even bigger joy for me to be able to create these amazing moments for them.

June and July have been quite busy with weddings, but I also have a super exciting announcement to make... I’ve found someone who’s as obsessed with making your wedding look incredible as I am!

Meet Tia - Content Creator extraordinaire! Tia is joining me to help couples who want to create content for their wedding, as well as have the photos. I’m so excited to be working with Tia, and here are a few amazing facts about her:
