I love starting an album with a shot of the venue 🌟 It sets the scene for all the story telling to happen throughout the rest of the gallery. This venue was gorgeous and the lighting this morning just shone beautifully to capture the serene feeling of the start of this couples day. I love a photo that makes you feel how it felt to be there, and every time I see this photo I feel it 💕

Wedding Photo Challenge 📸 - Thursday: A photo you didn’t mean to get

This photo was taken purely by accident. It was a super bright day outside but the registry office hallway didn’t have any windows just the doorway, so I was setting my camera settings up for the arrival of the bride to come inside and was taking some test shots 💕 This happy accident happened as this beautiful bridesmaid turned the corner and arrived ready for the brides arrival 🥰

Wedding Photo Challenge 📸 - Wednesday: A sentimental moment

A winter wedding always feels that little bit more sentimental but on this day the bride was walked down the aisle by her eldest son. He hadn’t been feeling well 🥲 and was struggling all day, but he held it in and focused on making his mum proud as he walked her down the aisle 🥰 The extra effort and clear discomfort he was in made the moment so much more special as he started this marriage showing in sickness and in health was how this family meant to go on 💕

Wedding Photo Challenge 📸 - Monday: A Photo of the Groom and Bride

This one was caught whilst I was working as a second photographer 🥰 my first wedding in fact. I had just been off capturing candids and found the couple having portraits in the stairwell and snapped this before heading down to join them 💕 The two were clearly mid conversation but it caught this lovely moment where the bride was laughing with her groom 🥰

Doesn’t this picture just capture the serene calmness of this wedding morning 🥰 I loved that I got a chance to photograph a winter morning - the lighting is low in the sky, everyones a little slower and the Manor House was beginning to warm up and feel all cosy away from the outside weather 💗
